Got really close to a red shouldered hawk today. Saw it from the car and had to stop and hop out and sneak up on it best I could to snap these. by @dinosaursnack

Almost 2 years ago now I met a girl, and the moment I I saw her walking across the street towards me that summer evening, I was taken aback by how beautiful she looked. I go back to that moment sometimes and I can picture everything. The way she looked in that colorful dress, how her hair blew in the wind, her smile, how she smelled when we first embraced and said hello. We had dinner, she had the fish, I the steak, and I got to be blown away again by just smart, cool, and funny she was. We walked around downtown for hours that night talking, and I didnt want the night to end.

Since then, we have done everything together and she has added massive value to my life. She has made my house feel like a home, she gives me comfort after a hard day, cooks amazing meals, takes care of me in ways I have a hard time doing for myself. She pushes me to learn new skills. She helped me get and stay sober. She is always there for me when I need her, no matter what.

We go kayaking, take road trips, explore museums, go to punk shows, learn to cook new dishes, slow dance to jazz in the kitchen. She learns my silly board games, listens to my silly songs, makes me laugh my ass off. She is my partner, my indispensable player 2, and I can no longer envision what my life would be like without her and I hope I never have to.

I love you Haley, Happy Valentines Day. ❤️ by @dinosaursnack

Merry Christmas from a mountain. Got a lot of amazing pictures and videos from this trip. We saw a waterfall, went inside a 6 million years old cave, and even found a business that was both gas station and a tanning salon. Will post more when I've sorted through it. Until then, hug the ones you love and be grateful for another year on this big rock we call home. by @dinosaursnack
