KELILING — A short film based on a true story

Some people are handed a future. Gilang had to sell it to himself, one ice cream at a time.
Fresh out of high school, he applied everywhere and every door said "not yet." So he took the only work he could find: selling ice cream from a bicycle through the streets of Semarang, while the university he dreamed of stayed just out of reach.
What follows is six years of small mornings and long roads. Of a man who kept his promises even when no one was keeping score. This isn't a story about escaping where you come from. It's about earning your way there and finally, quietly, arriving.
