Thank you for existing, Kattookkaran. ❤️
You made my life so much lighter and happier over the past few years. You were never my brother, never my boyfriend, but the best friend a girl could ever ask for.
You were the one who always made sure I was okay. And when I wasn’t, you gave me all the space I needed. You never forced me to talk or tried to fix everything. You would simply be there, sit back and listen to all my bla bla bla — for hours and hours and hours — without judging me, without getting tired of me, and without making me feel like I was too much. You just listened. That meant more to me than you probably ever realised.
You never complained about any of the delays I made, or all the times I kept you waiting for shopping, cinema,..... You never really scolded me either, but you always knew how to express your agreements and disagreements in your own way.
I’ve already started missing all our little things — that failed saffron chai, the failed Saint Sebastian cake, the long talks at Karak Chai, the samosa chats, uzhunnu vadas, puffs, all the food we made together, had together, all the movies we watched together, those evening walks and all the laughs together..
It’s funny how the simplest moments become the memories you miss the most.
Fly high, Kattookkaran, and go wherever life takes you. ❤️ You’ll always be one of the people at the very top of my favourite-people list.
I’ll always celebrate your successes — in life, in your career, and in everything you choose to pursue. I’ll always be genuinely proud of the person you become and every milestone you achieve.
And please, keep travelling. 🌍 Explore every corner of the world, so I can proudly tell everyone, “I have a friend who has travelled the whole globe.” 😂
No matter how far life takes you or how much things change, I’ll always be cheering for you from wherever I am.
