I never thought I would come back here to speak about something so deeply personal and traumatic something I experienced as a young, naive girl.
I was so nervous especially as I leaned forward and began explaining what had happened, I saw myself shaking, and it turned into a full PTSD moment. I never fully healed from it. As a child, I had far too much going on and too much to process. I never gave myself the time or space to heal because all I wanted was to fit in and make sure my parents were okay. Then, 3 years later, I became a whole mother that itself had a whole other own story, so once again, I had no time to heal because I needed to make sure I was ok and fit for my beautiful young baby boy (he really did come out of a strong woman) lol
It all truly hit me after I had my children it was probably a mix of everything i went through and alot of things i had been carrying in my teenage years. But I finally decided to speak up and share my side of the story with so many different people i never imagined it would bring me back here, talking openly about my experience in the hope of helping young people and understand the importance of protecting themselves in situations and the very real dangers of what not to do. Hi Everyone, So recently I've wanted to be a bit more genuine on my platforms,
Today it is 7 years since I had my accident, for some reason every year since it happened I wake up having flashbacks from that night,
Anyway I want to keep this short and sweet because this is not just about me its also about educating young people and adults about how dangerous it is to get on the train tracks.
For example a month after I got electrocuted on the tracks I wanted to go and face what had nearly killed me,
I went to get the train with some of my friends from back then and there was a group of boys playing with a ball and it went onto the tracks, one of the boys jumped down onto the tracks to get the ball and I shouted at him saying "Don’t put your feet on the tracks", once he got off the tracks I told him what had happened to me the month beforehand,
I remember him and his friends saying that they had no idea that the tracks were electrified.
This is another reason why I want parents and teachers to warn their children of the dangers associated with train tracks, as most people die within a minute and I was on there for a few minutes so I am really fortunate to be alive.

Of course as I mentioned in my video alcohol was involved and I was pretty drunk, I had a lot going on at home, school and my life in general which made me feel a certain way towards my life at that time.
So please if you every feel lonely, I want you to know you are not alone, Talk to a professional, get the help you need.
In my position I did not feel like my school helped me, but of course each school is different, so try the school first if not go to your GP and seek help from them.
P.S my DM's are always open but of course I am not a professional.
Always remember you are beautiful and you are strong do not let bullies tell you otherwise.

Last thing I want to say, Under age drinking is very dangerous. Looking back I should have just gone home that night but unfortunately for me I didn’t feel like I could because of my parents due to cultural differences, It is easy for me to say to young people today not to drink until you’re 18 but most of the time they aren’t going to listen.
