POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Our latest work features a set of four modular tables, designed by @bagatelastudio in collaboration with @brez.works , developed for the project Waste Me / Waste Me Not at Mercado do Bairro Santos, Lisboa.

Conceived as versatile industrial objects, the tables combine aluminium and wood, allowing multiple interlocking configurations. Their geometry was developed to be recombinable, adapting to different spatial narratives and future uses as a structural choice guided by sustainability, longevity, and minimal material waste.

The project explored how food can restore presence in a world that keeps accelerating. Memories, stories, and gestures of cooking were shared, and these narratives informed the spatial design. The aluminium tables, cold and linear, echoed the speed of technological time, while their modular openings created moments of encounter, proximity, and a more organic rhythm.

The conceptual direction of the set design was created by @tav.ola.lazuli and the narrative of the performance and movement by @__krva__

For this installation, the tables framed a central rectangular void designed to receive a sculpture, articulating the tension between the industrial and the organic.

Throughout the final event, the tables were gradually reconfigured, separating and reconnecting like fragments of a continuous meal.

A project by @associacao.maisigual & @tav.ola.lazuli, funded by @rededlbclisboa under the ‘Feed Your Future’ – Creative Climate Action program.
