Happy 19th Birthday Jordyn!

A lot of people have asked if Jordyn is dancing in college. In fact, Jordyn was dancing with the Dancing Dukes at JMU. Unfortunately, she hurt her back 2 days before their performances. Even after ACL surgery, she refused to walk away. 12 out of her almost 19 years alive has been involved around dance and 7 of those competing.

Around 5th grade, Jordyn convinced us to audition for the competition company. Initially worried that perhaps it was to much for her. But quickly reminded that she takes challenges head on.

It's Jordyn's turn!

This weekend is all about celebrating Jordyn. One of Jordyn's passions is dancing. It's not uncommon to find her dancing in my kitchen, front yard, store aisles, in the parking lots, and of course in her favorite spot, the stage. There has never been a time when she isn't dancing and that is true to this day. 🩷

Crazy how fast time flies. Looking back, his name fits him perfectly—even though we chose it for our own reasons at the time.

Caiden (fighter), Alexander (defender), Maddux (blessed)… every bit of it is him.

We’re so grateful God chose us to be his parents—even on the teenage attitude days 😅

Last night was Amyclae's dance recital. This was Caiden's 5th year dancing with Amyclae (if we don't count the earlier 7 years he spent tagging along with his sister) ☺️, and we were super proud of how he did.
This is our 12th year with Amyclae Dance Academy - Stafford VA and our 13th dance recital. I'm always amazed at how well the dancers do. Thank you Tina Singer, Peyton Bennett, TJ and Carla Nasal Whitaker for all you do and have done for my kiddos. by @dionne.wiggins
