21 years ago, when I last saw her in 2005, she was a fine looking bird serving people with full glory but I never expected to see her again that too in 2026 and in this deserted situation.

Once the famous Combi (Cargo + Pax) B737-200 of the Indian Airlines and Alliance Air fleet, now forced to sit at a corner in Andhra Pradesh's Vijayawada.

During my recent work trip to the city, I made sure to spend some time with this classic 737 from the bygone era. Registered as VT-EGM, inducted in 1981 and retired in 2008 and then briefly served as India's 1st B737 aircraft restaurant and now sits quietly away from the limelight.

As a fan of the Classic B737-200, I was excited as well as sad to pose with it once again after two decades.

Reunited with a classic after 22 years! 😊

My last flight on this iconic B737 was back in 2003, flying from Kolkata to Silchar when it was a regular visitor to the Northeast and now, after all these years, I had the chance to rediscover it on a short trip to Khatoo, Rajasthan.

As someone whose flying journey began with these classics, stepping inside and even visiting the cockpit was a deeply nostalgic experience.

This particular airframe, VT-EGG, affectionately known as 'Anda' during its service days, was delivered to Indian Airlines in 1981 and flew until its retirement as Air India Cargo in 2014. A beautiful journey down memory lane!

The unique bond between @royalenfield motorcycles and the @indianairforce goes back a long way when the #Bullet350 was inducted into the force as a preferred mount of the provost division and also used for despatch duties.

This IAF Day as we celebrate this bond and pay our respects to the efforts and valour of the air warriors we also give a hat tip to the resilience and strength of these motorcycles for having stood the test of time and harsh conditions and stand true to their character

No wonder they are also the road partner of the Air Warriors even in their personal life as many of the officers and men choose from amongst the wide range of motorcycles their personal favourite

In my opinion, Fly91 has the most beautiful livery on any ATR 72 in the world. Waiting for this beauty to start operations from Navi Mumbai. It will add more colours to the Navi Mumbai’s skies ❤️

Originally from Bolivia 🇧🇴 then destined to be in Indonesia 🇮🇩 but ultimately ended up in Malaysia 🇲🇾 !

Today, it's a popular attention catcher showpiece in Malaysia's Selangor wearing the murals of the Malaysian Royal family.

The classic B737-300 had a good history of operating for the flag carrier for Bolivia till 2007 but as the airline closed it then headed towards Indonesia for Lorena Air but the airline never started and it ultimately went under auction in Malaysia where it initially served as a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur before finally getting shifted to Selangor inside the property of Palace of Golden Horses.
