Being asked to be on the TODAY Show with Aware Super definitely wasn’t on my bingo card when I started @dipandsipmelbourne 🥹💗 This morning I had the honour of sharing our community and talking about why I first started sea swimming Long before it became a trend, cold water became something I turned to for my own mental health and wellbeing. What began as a simple Friday morning swim in cork into a community now in Melbourne that’s now brought all walks of life together to connect, move, laugh, support one another and remember that we don’t have to do life alone.. Standing on St Kilda Beach this morning talking about something that has genuinely changed my life felt incredibly surreal 🥹 A huge thank you to @awaresuper , the @todayshow @channel9 crew and everyone who came down at sunrise to stand behind Dip & Sip, You are what makes this community so special 🥹🌊 If you’d told me a few years ago that I’d be talking about sea swimming on national TV in Melbourne, I never would have believed you Feeling incredibly grateful. Here’s to many more dips, connections and reminding people that sometimes the simplest things like cold water, community and a sunrise can make the biggest difference 🫂🌊 by @dipandsipmelbourne

DIP + SIP TURNS TWO! 🥹🌀🌊 WOW. Two whole years of cold water, coffee, connection and most importantly COMMUNITY (my why) What started as a little idea to bring people together for a sunrise dip has grown into something so much bigger than I could have ever imagined 🥹🤯 Two years of early mornings, freezing toes, beautiful sunrises, new friendships, endless conversations, laughter and showing up for one another And the best part? The people 🥹 Dip + Sip has never just been about getting into the ocean. It’s about creating a space where anyone can turn up, feel welcome, meet new people and leave feeling a little more connected Looking around at our second birthday celebration, I couldn’t help but feel incredibly grateful for every single person who has been part of this journey Whether you’ve been coming since day one, joined us for your very first dip or simply supported us from afar, THANK YOU - from the bottom of my heart 🫶🏼 A huge thank you to the beautiful brands and businesses who helped make our second birthday extra special. A little reminder that we grow when we do the uncomfortable things.. 🧠🌀 Putting yourself out there. Being seen. Sharing your ideas. Reaching out. Filming the video in public even when you feel like everyone is watching 😂 and doing the things that make you feel a little awkward or nervous… I used to manifest and envision getting to work with brands I genuinely love, creating content and getting opportunities to share things online… and now I’m actually doing it 🥹 And I think so much of that has come from slowly learning to get comfortable with being uncomfortable There have been so many times I’ve worried about what people might think, felt silly or questioned myself but I kept showing up anyway 🫶🏼 Little me would honestly be screaming right now with who we have worked with so far 🥹🤯 So grateful for every opportunity, every brand that trusts me to create in my own way, and all of the beautiful brands who contributed to making @dipandsipmelbourne 2nd birthday so special 🎂🌊 It means so much to have people and brands believe in and support something that started as a little idea and has grown into such a beautiful community And I cannot WAIT to share the footage from @soleirstories 🎥🥹 by @dipandsipmelbourne
