the bubbles have aligned 🫧

if you told the girl in the last slide at her launch party that her first festival with dip-in’ would be @abovebelowfestival she’d have laughed it off.

this journey has been pure blood sweat and tears (some of which have been shed watching these videos and writing this post)

2 years later & here we are, @dipinmcr will be serving you breakfast at the most breathtaking festival in the uk. I couldn’t be more grateful for the people that run the festival, they are honestly the most beautiful organisers with so much passion for what they do & boy, do they do it well. It really is the crème de la crème!

& for now, I’m off to prep all your delicious scran and dips, see you in the valley & of course, we will be about in the evenings for a dance with some bubbles!! 🌱 🫧

this one’s to say thank you and never stop chasing your wildest dreams ☁️ taken in Chiltern Hills by @dipinmcr

KIMCHI & CHEDDAR CROQUETTES ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ

After going on to become the easy favourites of 2023 we thought it would only be right to bring them back this year.

w/ Gochujang mayo dip

We use @yeslahmcr vegan friendly Kimchi 🇵🇭 One of our core values is to support other independent businesses where possible and @cookingwithmamaz has genuinely been such a huge inspiration to me since her early days of having a pop up kiosk at hatch. Zos has then gone from strength to strength opening her own café, shop & event space at 102 Barlow Moor Road in Didsbury. The supper clubs are really special, eating with your hands and your neighbours, the communal spirit is high in all areas of Yes Lah. They have recently gone through a menu change with the focus on Filipino food and I know it won’t disappoint. I can’t wait to try it myself and so should you! 💫 taken in Manchester, United Kingdom by @dipinmcr

Nature has closed loop systems so why can’t we?

Instead of the plastics we use ending up as food for the fish in the sea.

See, we eat those, or some of us don’t.
But thats a choice.

Do you think those fish have a choice?

Its our choice
Our choice is now.

For we are most powerful (& naive)
A species that understands the repercussions
How to damage and fix an ecosystem 101 - 𝘢𝘷𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘰𝘯 𝘈𝘮𝘢𝘻𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 ‘𝘦𝘤𝘰-𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘺’ 𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘰𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘢 𝘥𝘢𝘺.

-

Forgive me father, for we have sinned,
Tell Mother I’m sorry as I stand in her wind.

She is definitely going to ground me, thats facts with nature.

And I don’t mean the type where she sends me to my room for 3 days straight.

We can take a leaf out of our external teachers, and that isn’t for debate.

Perhaps our true parental figures should be that of the higher powers, perhaps nature not nurture?

Listening to the guidance from those with the real knowledge, those that have spanned much further than our existence of humans.

-

Feel grateful for this little pivoting sphere

Yet again a circular loop

Look for the spirals and circles across your paths

There is no such thing as waste in the natural world

~just in ours~

👋🏼 At 2pm today we’re taking over your airwaves with a little taste of a new avenue of dip-in’ …. aka dig-in’ which aims to create a community and platform across food, music & arts.

For our very special first episode of dig-in’, we’ve invited @charlescabbott & @ruby_kerr from @tales_of_other_minds (TOOM) where we have a little chat with the collective on their debut play!

Also shout out to @reformradio Firstly for the opportunity to do a radio course earlier this year, I’d highly recommend to anyone who can access these. They have so much to offer. Secondly for the support and being able to broadcast this show.

Which to clarify is a huge step outside our comfort zone but it’s all about growing 🌱 taken in Manchester, United Kingdom by @dipinmcr
