Dippy Bamba’s OM Nights

A sober open mic night organised by DIPPY BAMBA!

With a yummy sober vegan cafe selling a hot dinner, savoury snacks, sweet treats, teas and cacao!

Join us for a night of fun! We begin with an opening circle, flow into a few hours of open mic and offer a craft/social space too! Hop on the mic in a beautiful community centred space!

Our vision is to bring people together, encourage creativity and light people’s creative passion within themselves! Over the last few years, we have brought together beautiful people, each one coming out to shine! We’re in for another winter, bringing the energy of summer and creativity through the winter months!

This feels like a sort of introduction to who we are.. for those of you who may not know!! We’re Dippy Bamba! Jack Dippy and Amba Bamba, melting together in our creative expression!

We started making music together 2 years ago, writing our own original music to empower people, sing about what we believe in and hopefully share some of our love into this world :) Before meeting Jack, Amber was completely new to the musical world.. We slowly built up our music together, working our way up to some very fun things :) You don’t have to have years of experience to try something new or do something you love. Creativity isn’t about perfection. It isn’t about years of training or even how it sounds. It’s about how it feels to you.. 90% of our relationship struggles are probably solved with music :p It brings us joy and life!! And we want more people to know!!!

For the last few months we’ve been travelling around Europe, busking everywhere we go and hopefully making some people smile! We do it because we love it. It feeds our souls!

And so yesterday we found ourselves at Europes tallest sand dune, after busking nearby during the day. What a wild place! The perfect place for a spot of music, too! It’s fun to bring the music with us wherever we go :)

Singing to the trees in Germanys beautiful Black Forest <3

The world is going through a lot at the moment…we see big things happening. In our own personal lives, in the lives of our loved ones and in the wider world that we see online.. How do we stay hopeful and choose peace, at a time of so much destruction? How do we feel safe, when so much terrible news is at our fingertips? How do we feel connected to our own inner power, when we can feel so hopeless amongst it all?

For us, we choose sound. We choose connecting to the words inside of us, the world around us and the power of our vibration. We choose to ripple out love, to do what we can to bring people together, to sing songs back to freedom. If we, as people, feel empowered..that is our most peaceful weapon against anything happening around us. Our strength, our communities and our voices will carry us. Our connection to the land will show us the way, remind us of where we came from.

We may not know all of the answers, when the world feels so unpredictable, but if we know how to stand as one, people and this earth, maybe we can find a sense of empowerment, that will lead us to rise up in love and hope <3 taken in Black Forest, Germany by @dippybamba

⭐ LIVE MUSIC GIG ⭐

We're so excited to be bringing the magic of Dippy Bamba & Nastee Chapell to Cambridge! Not only are they incredible musicians, they are also amazingly loving people who travel around sharing heartfelt harmony 💖

DIPPYBaMbA is a sound of Tribal Trance Reggae Folk fusion, singing earthy songs to connect all beings with good vibration. They'll be raising the energy, getting you all dancing an encouraging sing alongs with ecstatic mantras.

Nastee Chapel are modern day bards carrying songs of connection and awakening. This is folk inspired music to remind us of what unites us. Epic lyrical tales, clog dancing, flute playing, cajon stomping, guitar shredding.

Dippy Bambas OM nights!!! What an INSANE night!! There was so much talent!! So much magic!! So much wonder!! What a blessing to be surrounded by so many incredible beings, musicians and supportive people! Thank you to everyone that came to share, to support and to eat all the delicious food! Massive thank you to everyone that came up on the open mic! You’re all amazing and so talented!! Sorry we didn’t capture clips of every one of you!! And so much gratitude to the goddess @_ren.heather for hosting such an amazing craft space! We love you!

It fills our hearts so so much to hold this space <3 We cannot express enough how much it means to us. Everyone that came along, we thank you so much! It was so awesome how many people travelled for it! Seeing so many beautiful faces from over the summer, alongside beautiful bournemouth family and new bournemouth family.. what a joy!!

We’ve been busy in the lands of Bournemouth, settling back in for the season.. and tomorrow we have our first OM NIGHT of the season!! It’s going to be a night of music, yummy food, art and connection!! We’d love for you to join us!! In a few weeks I’ll be hosting my first solo event!

For the last few years, i’ve been learning about seasonal living. I’ve been discovering how, if we incorporate the seasons into our lives, we can find a flow with the world around us.

So I invite you to join me, and delve into a world of the seasons, with evening of free flow art, following the theme ‘Easing into Autumn’.

I’m going to guide a short opening practice, to connect and explore the theme, and then provide lots of materials for you to flow into creativity!!

There will be yummy homemade vegan cake and teas, and lots of cosy autumn energy. It’s a space to come as you are, and be creative together.

My vision is to bring people together, encourage creativity and light people’s creative passion within themselves! Over the last few years, myself and my partner have been finding ways to bring people together, carrying the energy of community through to the winter months! We will be running lots of events throughout the winter, including open mics, craft groups, live music nights and voice activation workshops!

Here we sing Ahimsa in a vibrational stride for love for all living beings.

After an extremely powerful day amongst many activists marching for animal rights. We gathered in Hanover Square London, to share stories, inspire energy and celebrate how far we’ve come. Thank you Allan Jackson for organising and also @just_another_bloody_vegan for filming.

It’s a journey to stand for what we believe in, and we feel singing is our part in this cosmic puzzle. For reasons only the universe knows, there is still so much suffering in this world. And for those choosing not to ignore, it can be a challenging road. So with words of love, sung with power and devotion, we hope to fill the hearts of these beautiful people, us included!

Together we are full beams of light, together we are a future so bright!

Last week we had the absolute honour of floating up into @deanostreenets to record a few cosmic colourful clips of us singing!!

It was a magical collaboration, with @iomhau awesome projections and @jakesheppard.co.uk wild drone shots, creating a magical colourful universe of wonder!! Such a cool little bubble of light in the trees..

It was one of our last stops on the road before @the.wild.retreat this weekend, which is now coming to a close and ending up our festival season!! We made it!!! Hurrah!! Sauna celebrations and mud baths have been had with @maya.sacred <3

We’ll be in Bournemouth in a few days for @jack.dippy next voice activation, whilst we await the release of the full youtube video!

Keep eyes peeled for the announcement! It will be on deanos channel as well as ours! :) Full length clips of songs for you guys, whilst awaiting our recordings! ;)

We are endlessly faced with new problems, new fears.. new waves of the world. All around us, the screens are a constant access point to all of the world’s news. As beings of empathy, many of us want to see the justice that is so deserved around the earth. Human equality, animal freedom, climate justice.

So what if we entertain the idea that our love doesn’t KNOW anything..? Our love just feels.

When we try to solve things with just words, it can be very exhausting. Of course, words are needed, and can be very useful in this life. But when it comes to our deepest human emotions.. sometimes we forget something: our love.

Coming together as a community, helping those around us, finding ways to feel empowered and raising our people up! Can we find a way to stop arguing, turning on each other and exhausting ourselves? Can we find a way to follow our hearts to find solutions? It may not be the solution to everything.. but if we begin from love, it can truly change the world.

Our inner world can begin to shape the world we want to create around us, the power of our words and the depth of our actions. It can fuel our activism, create powerful groups of change makers and fill the hearts of peace seekers. If we begin from love, we can unite to create the powerful change we want to see!
