ITS OVER FOR OG PARTS STOP IT! These are the TRUTH by @dipsbyrockets

$You don’t need a workshop for this.. just three simple items: Steel Wool (Grade #0000): This is the secret. It’s super fine, so it scuffs the shine without leaving deep scratches. Acetone: To prep the surface and ensure a clean, even finish. Microfiber: For the final wipe-down. Can do a final wipe down of acetone. I did it from start to finish in under 10 minutes. Don’t want to make a lengthy post but the ingredients are fairly simply and painless. Take a piece of steel wool, dab acetone on it and go to town.. there isn’t a need for a ton of pressure but just make passes like you’re wiping down the whole thing and the top layer starts to dull. What’s happening is you’re putting micro scratches that’s changing the way light refracts to the frames. If you were to do this I’d suggesting taking off the foam, running it under water and soap etc etc but I didn’t.. I used an air compressor to blow off any residue or little steel pieces and went on my way. Can wipe it down with alcohol to be sure it’s cleaned. If steel gets in my eye that’s my issue not yours. Any questions please ask. by @dipsbyrockets$
