DAPH has been a special journey for us at Azad Films. Made with a deep love for storytelling, this independent film has been travelling through film festivals and regional screenings, collecting moments that remind us why we started.
And now, we’re happy to share that DAPH is an Official Selection at The Jagran film Festival , with a screening this month.

Yesterday, Kannagi had its very first screening at an intimate gathering hosted by @artisancoterie and @the_maladfilmclub
Watching a film you’ve lived with for months on a big screen is a feeling that’s difficult to put into words. What began as an idea eventually became a film that took me through the streets of Ghaziabad, Mumbai, and Delhi, with a small team, limited resources, and a lot of belief.
As an actor, filmmaking was never part of the original plan. But somewhere along the journey, storytelling pushed me towards writing, producing, directing, and wearing many other hats.

Grateful for everyone who watched the film, stayed back for the Q&A, and shared their thoughts. These conversations make the journey worthwhile.

The film could not have been possible without the writing of @unfocused.hero and the amazing performance and production work of @shobhiitmaathur
Thankyou @the_maladfilmclub and @post5pmfilms for having our film and you have been an amazing host throughout ✨

We are so much thankful for all these reviews ♥️🙏
We spend months making a film.
Then we hand it over to the audience and wait.
Everything that happens after that belongs to them.
