365 DAYS OF YOU : THE FILM {Director’s statement} I wanted to explore the quiet violence of choosing a dream over someone you love. Rather than treating sacrifice as a single moment, we wanted to explore the weight of choosing: what you gain, what you lose, and the person you become in the process. The film lives somewhere between memory and consequence. using a year, fragments of intimacy and memory, and the quiet moments where a decision slowly becomes inevitable. This isn’t a story about falling out of love. It’s about what it costs to become who you said you wanted to be. LR 001: VICOKA “YOU” A lot of thought went into this production. The idea was to create a moving illusion of pain shared across the table — a visual representation of the insufferable loop they both have to live in, where love, pain, and sacrifice keep finding their way back to the same place. ACT i: THE WEIGHT OF THE DECISON YOU was built around a question with no easy answer: What do you do when the person you love most begins to stand in the way of the person you believe you’re meant to become? There’s no villain. No betrayal. No lack of love. Just two people caught between love and ambition, knowing that choosing one may mean losing the other. Every frame, transition, silence, colour and piece of sound was crafted to live inside that conflict — to make time feel like memory, and love feel like something you can hold onto even as you learn to let it go. Sometimes the hardest decision isn’t between right and wrong. It’s between what you love and what you believe you’re meant for. And a special appreciation to Vicoka @iam_vicoka for the rawness of YOU — turning something deeply personal into a story millions can see themselves in. There’s genius in making vulnerability feel universal.
