We always enjoy working with our friends at Hold Fast, a bunch of kind-hearted creative wizards who have the luxury of collaborating with the fine folks at Johnsonville on fun projects like this. We were brought in by our friends at Allies and Company. This was one of, if not the first, shoot at the Wisconsin Production Collective. This script was a lot of fun, we loved the choice to do it practically in a world dominated by digital lies! We found an old vending machine somewhere in Indiana, hollowed it out, made a replica of the can opening to accommodate the bun and brat, then the art team made a variety of contraptions to do fun “sausage drops”. In the end, our favorite was simply using Kenny Siebert’s hand. A hospital is a theater of quiet emergencies — hundreds of high-stakes decisions unfolding simultaneously, in every wing, every room, every floor, at every hour. Success there is a kind of choreography: years of training distilled into calm, split-second precision. That was the tension we wanted the camera to convey visually. We used tight, exacting close-ups alongside voyeuristic wides — the close-ups for precision, the wides for scale, for the sense that just outside the frame, a hundred other stories were happening in parallel. But underneath the procedural rigor, we never lost sight of the human core: the patient’s side of the story. A mother mid-chemo. A newborn’s first breath. The moments that don’t need embellishing because we’ve all, in some form, lived them. That dual perspective — clinical and intimate, wide and close — shaped every composition and every beat of blocking. It was a great collaboration with @alliesandcompany and @tenadams, and with the team at Baystate Health, who trusted us with something this personal. Noisy Neighbors | Harley Davidson x Rockford Fosgate ___ We are so fortunate to work on projects like this. And to collaborate with the creatives behind the iconic brand of Harley Davidson and their Factory Racing Team, as well as Rockford Fosgate. Not to mention, the legendary James Rispoli and Frankie. We had the opportunity to be involved with this from the ideation phase all the way through post, and it was supremely rewarding. We love working on these longer form projects, and working with trusted collaborators and friends. Thanks to Scott, Jon, Andy, Andy, Andrew, Jim and the entire HD Factory Racing Team for your trust and partnership. And lest we forget, our old pal, comedy icon, Geoff Dow. AND, we have to mention the crew—we did this in one shoot day, with only one day of prep on site for the art department. The shot list had 56 shots in it, we added some on the day. We think we did 64 set ups in one 12 hour shoot day. A new record! We used a dolly with track, a jib, had to shoot two different backyards, smoke machines, motorcycles, extras, etc. This is about 5x what you’re supposed to do, and we did it. Unbelievable hustle and creativity in the execution and support of this piece on all sides. Wow. Royal Enfield | Director’s Cut ___ We felt joy in chaos while urban exploring with Andrew Jackson, a small yet mighty crew and Royal Enfield as we made this brand film for the North American launch of the Guerilla 450. We wanted to create layers of texture, color and motion to create a staccato effect between speed and stillness. To try conveying the immediacy of a motorcycle—the pavement blurring past your feet, the throttle in hand and the tank shaking beneath you. The hyper awareness you feel on a bike. To take that awareness toward curiosity and exploration in the pursuit of creating art; in this case with our multi talented star and all around excellent guy, Andrew Jackson. We are excited to share this one. A director’s cut of our brand film with Royal Enfield. As two Vikings fans, we needed a little time to process after shooting this, but in retrospect, it was a blast. And we loved celebrating the tailgate culture of Wisconsin. A little throwback as the NFL playoffs are in full swing. An absolute pleasure to work with two broadcast legends in Wayne Larrivee and Larry McCarren, as well as production legends from tip to top of the call sheet. Let’s Push Ahead | Froedtert We love working with Unlock and Froedtert along side our partners and friends at Allies & Company. Building off an established look we built these scenes with an existing aesthetic in mind, but the difference was movement. Orthopedic care was the focus so we wanted people in motion while maintaining relatability; freedom of movement in the everyday. We used some cool rigs to attach a basketball to our camera and dolly, to push a bowling ball down a bowling alley, and were intentional about timing throughout to make sure our transition ideas made the cut. Sometimes they don’t in a short piece. We’re happy with how it came together, great work by everyone who helped us bring this thing to life from the creative team and client through the entire production squad. 2025 was a ride! Such a bizarre year for the industry as a whole, we are grateful for to be working when so many people are struggling in the business. Moreover, we are grateful for the amazing people we get to work with. This year brought a lot of unique challenges and opportunities our way, thanks to all the collaborators and clients who have entrusted us with their projects.
