I had such a relaxing, refreshing stay at @bellasurfinn. It’s located in Isabella, Puerto Rico with a beautiful view of hobos Beach. There are a multitude of dining establishments with walking and driving distance. So if you are looking for a good morning coffee or dinner and drinks, that would be the least of your worries. Upon the morning and afternoon I sat alongside the coast with a chilled cocktail made by the wonderful @maryschmader at @lavaquerapr located on the premises of the hotel. This year I promised myself that I would dedicate more time to focus on film making. With the distractions of life and the world sometimes we need a reset to remember our goals and purpose. I decided to get away and fly to Puerto Rico for over a month and it became a snow ball effect of revelations. Not only was I able to harness the ability to capture freely and beautifully, I also kept encountering more and more creative energy and people. For what I came to do and what I’ve received are two different things. What I’ve learned is to let go and let and trust the process, while allowing myself to be present. I’ve built relationships with incredible people and set a good foundational tone for what’s to come. Now that im back in Atlanta I want to focus on showing the world my abilities through film, writing, and why not even acting. We are limitless beings as creators and should not halt the vision for anything. I’m stepping into a new phase. I’m done being distracted by the smoke and mirror, what people expect, what society pushes, what the algorithm wants. Thailand has been on my mind lately. The cost of living is so different that the price of one month of rent here could cover three or four months there. I don’t mind traveling and I’m comfortable exploring places on my own, so now I’m just trying to figure out where I should start. Bangkok, Chiang Mai, the islands… where should I go first? Had about two hours to link up with my guy @kingbeamrc while he’s out here, so I made sure we touched base.Whenever I need to clear my head, create something random, or just get outside and move, the Atlanta BeltLine is always the go-to. Good energy, people outside, creatives everywhere. Since Bean hadn’t experienced it yet, I had to take him through.Ended up meeting some incredible people that day vloggers, photographers, skit creators, just folks out building and moving. Yesterday’s album signing at DBS Sounds @dbssoundsatl with YFN Lucci @yfnlucci was a true celebration of the music and the city.
