As birthdays go, this was the absolute best!

I am really enjoying being part of such a lovely bunch of hooomans who happen to like running @edmontonrunningclub . Thursday night we gathered to pay respect to a former member who left us too soon. I never got to meet Luke, but the stories shared told me that he was one of life’s good ‘uns. A few beers later, I was agreeing to join the 7am crew. I kept my word, if not my dignity.

An amazing morning with my @edmontonrunningclub family and our C25K graduates.
They’ve worked so hard over the last eight weeks to get to the point where they could complete a Parkrun. It’s been brilliant to see their progress, and a pleasure to play a small part along the way through some of the sessions at Grovelands and Firs Farm.

It’s nearly six years old, but I’m still getting lovely people buying the book I wrote. It still fills me with pride, (and 72p royalty per sale!!) and this song by Robbie means so much to the story.

#medalmonday A tough one yesterday at @trentparkrc Triffic Trail. Lots of hills and very hot. Target was a sub hour finish, so I was very happy to come in at an official time of 58:42.
My first official’ run with @edmontonrunningclub , and it was really nice to feel a part of a team again 🥰
