What a week it has been with the @dirtyadventurecrew.We wrapped up another unforgettable San Juan Mountains adventure by dropping down Black Bear Pass, crossing Ophir Pass, and making one last climb to the summit of Imogene Pass. Epic trails, great friends, incredible views, and memories that will last long after the dust settles.Now it’s time for a strong cup of coffee ☕, a thorough cleanup, and to start planning the next adventure.Thanks to everyone who wheeled with us, waved on the trail, and followed along this week. Stretching the weekend just a little longer to wrap up the @dirtyadventurecrew adventure through the San Juan Mountains.The plan was to finish with Black Bear Pass and Imogene Pass, but Mother Nature had other ideas. Recent rain washed out a section on the Telluride side of Imogene Pass, so access is currently restricted from that direction. The Ouray side is still open but this reminds us that mountain conditions can change in a hurry.That’s part of the adventure. You can make all the plans you want, but the mountains always get the final say. Another day, another adventure in the San Juan Mountains. 🏔️Yesterday the @dirtyadventurecrew tackled the legendary Alpine Loop. Today we are pointing the rigs toward one of our favorite trails—Poughkeepsie Gulch. Decided it was time to upgrade the storage system in the JKU. I added a set of @tmrcustoms Packout mounts to the @excessive_industries tire carrier and @cargodog2021, so the Packouts are securely mounted instead of being strapped down—and they’re a whole lot quicker to access on the trail.Now it’s time to see how the new setup performs in the San Juan Mountains. 🏔️What’s one storage upgrade that’s made the biggest difference in your trail rig? by @dirty.chuckwalla
