power is a woman who finally understands that her hunger was never the problem.

from birth, she was taught to carve herself into something beautiful and consumable. to fold her sharpness inwards. to call her rage ugly before it ever had the chance to become language.

so she swallowed herself whole.

her anger. her desire. her grief. her ambition. every sense of wanting tucked quietly beneath her skin like something shameful.

but hunger does not disappear when ignored.

it deepens. it waits. it learns the shape of your bones.
and eventually, the body remembers it was never made for starvation.

so she becomes unbearable to those who benefited from her absence. loud. radiant. beautiful. sexy. powerful. unapologetic.

and there is something so fucking holy about the way she stops asking permission to exist in full.

she no longer mourns the parts of herself that ache. she feeds them instead.

she slaughters :
the wanting. the fury. the loneliness. the need. the grief of being taught to abandon herself just to be loved.
and gorges herself on beauty. on love. on community and connection.

women are not made to be one thing.

we diverse, we are beautiful, we are strong, we are tender, we are violent, we are POWER.
