Thank you so much @austin_monthly and @saraintheweeds for including us on the cover of this months issue. We are honored to be named among the best tacos in Austin. Every spot on that list of 25 is truly delicious. We are so thankful everyday for the love and support, and we will continue to provide delicious food for you all. ❤️ by @discada

7 years ago, when we opened this taqueria, we had no idea the journey it would take us on or the doors it would open. Discada was born from a childhood dream, and staying true to that vision has always been our priority. From day one, we aimed to keep the quality and experience exactly as it was when we cooked for family and friends in the backyard.

Every chef and restaurant owner knows the amount of work it takes to stay consistent and keep your spirits high during uncertain times. The food industry can be cold, tough, and difficult - but the community that supports us are why we keep going. Our goal has always been simple: to make sure every guest leaves Discada with a full belly and a warm, welcoming experience.

Discada has been recognized by the prestigious Michelin Guide, and we are truly honored and still in disbelief. To be named among such incredible talent in Texas is a dream we never thought our little taco truck would reach, let alone to be part of the first-ever Texas Michelin Ceremony.

We owe this to everyone who has been part of our journey, including our incredible staff who makes sure our taqueria is outstanding. We promise to keep these tacos just as they’ve always been and to make sure there’s always a place for you at our corner taqueria. We love you all so much! ❤️ by @discada

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been featured in The New York Times’ Top 25 Best Restaurants in Austin!

Discada is in the @michelinguide for the THIRD year in a row!!! 2024, 2025, and now 2026. We couldn’t be more proud, but none of it would mean nearly as much without the people who got us here.

To our incredible team, thank you for the heart and hard work you put into what we do every single day. And to everyone who’s stood in line, brought a friend, shared a meal or cheered us on along the way, thank you for believing in us.

Almost 20 years ago, Discada started as a dream between two high school friends. Looking back at where we began and seeing how far we’ve come still feels surreal. Eight years in and we still feel like we’re just getting started. We have big dreams for what’s ahead and we’re as hungry as ever.

Thank you ATX for giving us a home and letting us be part of such an incredible food community.

With love and gratitude,
The Discada Team 🤍 by @discada

We’re excited to share that we’ll be sticking around at @daintydillo for another month AND adding more days to grab a burger! Starting now, you can find us Thursday through Sunday.

Football season is in full swing, and we’re getting ready for the biggest game yet @chalmersatx 🏈🍻

We’re talking a giant LED screen, tons of patio space, 15+ TVs, frozen cocktails to beat the Texas heat, and your favorite Michelin-starred tacos from @discada . 🌮

Need more convincing? We didn’t think so. 😉

WEEKEND SPECIAL

We wanted to add something a little lighter and refreshing for these hot Austin weekends:

GRILLED SHRIMP TOSTADA — $11

Ancho chile marinated shrimp
Avocado purée
Cabbage
Red onions
Salsa cruda

And of course, THE BURGER IS BACK!! After the last couple weekends, we’re coming back with more burgers than ever.

We put A LOT of love into this burger from start to finish. We start with a beautifully marbled chuck primal that we hand trim, break down and grind fresh into 5 oz patties. Then we top it with a scoop of our signature Discada, cheese, shaved onions and chipotle burger sauce.

If you haven’t gotten a chance to try it yet, come get one while you can! We’re only doing these burger weekends for a few more weekends.

📍❗️REMINDER: This pop-up is at @daintydillo ONLY — not our Chalmers location. Dainty Dillo is just about 4 minutes down the road from Chalmers, overlooking the Colorado River. Plenty of shade, a breeze off the water, cold drinks and one of the coolest patios in Austin.
