The bag changed hands—but so did the responsibility.

At Victory’s, the next connection was already waiting.

Because once the bag changed hands…

they weren’t just carrying the juice.

They were carrying the name with it.

Sometimes God doesn’t answer your prayer the way you expected… but He’ll still meet you exactly where you need Him.

I flew to Grand Rapids hoping to meet the woman who gave me life. Instead, I met the family I never knew. I heard stories that had been buried for decades, laughed with cousins, hugged relatives for the very first time, and learned more about where I come from than I ever imagined.

But I also experienced one of the hardest moments of my life. The woman who gave birth to me still wasn’t ready to know me. That hurt🥹

As my sister and I walked through the airport carrying the weight of that disappointment, God reminded me that He has a way of meeting us in the most unexpected places. I looked up… and there was Eric Thomas.

Not on a stage.
Not on YouTube.
Not through a motivational video.

Standing in the airport.

I introduced myself and shared a little of my story—including how we both met our biological sisters in our 30s. Instead of rushing to catch his flight, he stopped, listened, encouraged me, and reminded me to keep going.

In a weekend filled with unanswered questions, God still gave me exactly what I needed: a reminder that He sees me, He’s with me, and my story isn’t over. I may not have received the embrace I hoped for, but I walked away with something just as valuable…

Hope

Sometimes God doesn’t remove the pain. Sometimes He simply reminds you that He never left your side.

I flew to meet the woman who gave me life… but God met me at the airport instead.

All glory to God. ❤️🙏🏾

Some seasons God sends blessings.
Other seasons He sends brothers.

Men weren’t designed to fight every battle alone.

We need accountability.
We need wisdom.
We need discipline.
We need other men who will tell us the truth.

That’s what MENtality is about. ⚔️

Building stronger husbands.
Stronger fathers.
Stronger leaders.
Stronger disciples.

If you’re ready to grow, there’s a seat at the table.
