What’s a disc you couldn’t live without?
Mine is the Discraft Athena, if you don’t bag one you’re simply losing strokes.

I played in a local C-tier this weekend. WOW is all I can say. My throws were for the most part fantastic on the other hand putting is absolutely trash.

It felt like I had a chance to make something happen in round 2 and as soon as I slipped up once, it was game over. I still had a blast and I’m always stoked to be throwing my @discraftdiscgolf discs.

Here are some stat totals:
66% C1x makes
12% C2 makes
I drove the disc inside C1 23 times

I played for the first time in a while yesterday.
Was not in love with my form! Somehow the discs still found their way near the basket.

Probably because I throw the best plastic in the game @discraftdiscgolf

Last weekend @logan_burrow and I competed in the Michigan State Doubles! This was a blast and we absolutely crushed it. We played very well off of each other’s game and just missed the lead by one stroke.

Highlight for me was throwing my forehand to 50ft on hole 10 rivers edge and cashing the putt for eagle. by @discjohnson

The Northwest Championships

This week has been one of the most memorable times of my life. This was my first pro tour event and it truly felt like I was living in my 16 year old self’s dreams. Getting to play along side the best disc golfers in the world or with legends of the game was truly as cool as I always thought it would be. I may not have played my best game this week but getting to qualify and simply be in this atmosphere was something I’ll remember for the rest of my life.

Oregon is amazing and I hope to be back to play in this event in the future. I’m proud of myself this week for staying in the present and just soaking it all in. A smile never left my face no matter what happened on the course and I think that’s all that matters.
