I guess it’s time I formally introduce @disco.blur to my personal account & myself on my disco account since I’ve never done either.

Many moons ago, I studied photography; focused on film specifically. Learning about photography in general, then how to can my own film, develop it and work fully in analog has been one of the most incredible love affairs I’ve had the pleasure of knowing.

If you’ve known me since my teens, you know I’ve always carried a film camera with me. & you also know that I’ve been a girl of the streets, Ha. I love being out; socializing , dancing, contemplating - over the last 15 years particularly at night, now I can say a fantastic balance between the daytime too.

2015, (wow just realized that’s 10 years ago) was my first disco post, an account I kept pretty anonymous until a little while ago. I found myself having so many photos of strangers from random 7AM bar convos, luvers & stylish people at the club with no outlet for them. That was the inception of this account. As for the name, well, your girl loves to be in a disco, sometimes having too much fun blurring the lines of time and space hehe. So, officially, welcome to my longtime creative outlet for spur of the moment captures. 💫 hope to catch you waving your freak flag soon.
