🔗 in bio

Sat 29th August, 2pm-10pm in the Outhouse Garden. The Edinburgh Fringe edition!

Last time out we added Jamie & Lawrie to the bill & the event went down very well. We were blown away by all the positivity surrounding the last party.

This time around in addition to Tom, myself (Gareth) & the aforementioned Jamie & Lawrie we’re excited to welcome ‘’Duvet Vous?’’ resident DJ @hectoritsmehector to the line up for his first gig in Scotland so let’s all please welcome him well in the Disco Tapas style 🪩
-
The Notorious Duvet Gang is a bunch of Bristol-based folk who sporadically gather to indulge in a touch of the old “Duvet Vous?”

They have been hosting parties, either indoors or out since 1999 with a firm dedication to all things House.

During this time they have enlisted the help of friends and colleagues such as Inland Knights, Nick Harris, Kinky Movement, Jamie Anderson, Chris Simmonds, Johnny Fiasco, Jason Hodges, Freaky Behaviour, The Littlemen, Tom Special Interest, Jazzy Eyewear, Deep Cartel, Giom, Justin Harris, Slum Science, Smokescreen, Jay West, Alejo Galvez and Da Sunlounge to name but a few.
-
The event is still FOC guys so let’s fill the Outhouse Garden on the 29th!

More details will follow in the coming days/weeks so keep yer eyes peeled 👀

On Saturday we return to the Outhouse in Edinburgh following our launch last summer.

Disco Tapas started in 2021 over in Hong Kong & is now in the heart of Edinburgh following Tom's decision to move back to the UK in 2023.

We're a bunch of mates with a shared love of beats across many styles.

Reduced roster this time featuring just Gareth & Tom for a vinyl only ho down. Come & get your square dance on!

More parties are planned over the summer so get involved. We hope to see you at one.

This Saturday could go anywhere so come & see what we get upto 💚

Times moving quick! ⏰🥵

Last weekend we hosted our 5th Disco Tapas in Scotland & our last of this summer 2026.

They say it’s all about the music but I’m really digging the new connections. People who want to fill a space & dance during the day.

So many thanks but first of it’s a huge thanks to the @outhouse_bar After 4 events here it feels like home. Nicky & his staff are super kind & helpful which in turn makes the day flow really well. Shoutouts to Aisling, Lou, Connor & of course Nicky for the continued support 🫶🏻 we love playing here!

Next we have thanks to all the new attendees that popped along on Saturday. Dave, Neasha, Jean, Vonny, Laura, Gary & Stevo amongst many others. Great to meet such a mad bunch & a fun gang! Alongside our beloved regulars (you all know who you are) you guys can certainly help this thing grow!

& lastly thanks to the players @lawrie_francey we love you man, another stellar performance! @hectoritsmehector you blew us away.
Thanks for committing to our mad idea!

& to my fellow residents & co-conspirators, Jamie & Tom, much love boys. We did it well. Here’s to more antics together 🤜💥🤛

In 2 weeks time we welcome Hector to our last party of the summer at The Outhouse in Edinburgh.

Sat 29th Aug. 2-10pm

As ever we’ll explore all manner of grooves as we lead up to the finale. Expect to hear everything from funk, soul & boogie to vocal house selections & a big dollop of deep stuff to finish us all off.

Here’s a little about our first cross border guest at Disco Tapas -

Hector arrives fresh from a recent headline slot at Babble Soundsystems Green Widows festival in the Lincolnshire countryside & from playing at Smokescreen Soundsystems 35th year festival celebrations.

Heavily inspired by US Deep house / Techno, Chicago + Detroit, DIY Soundsystem , Jazz , Ambient + Punk music, Hector is resident dj at Bristol’s infamous & longest running house night Duvet Vous?.

We’re super excited about this. This is the young fellas first trip up to Edinburgh so we can’t wait to see friends old & new in attendance to give him as warm a welcome as possible.

Remember the event is free to get in & this will be the last weekend of the EdFest so let’s see out the festivities in style together!

The garden space at the Outhouse awaits you 🪩
