Seeing our wedding through @bloomandwandercophoto perspective have been something so special. The tiny moments, all the love, she really captured the colorful essence of all that is us. Looking over the photos from our engagement shoot by @bloomandwandercophoto fills me with so much love. To see us like this. Vibrant, bursting, together in the moment is a visceral experience. Our love has transformed from late nights, poetry, and red wine stained sunrises to sneaking veggies into Macaroni and 6am bubble dance parties to shake the grouch off of a sleep cut too short. We’ve been growing and learning, healing and struggling. But here we are, a moment for ourselves, still dripping with the same prose and intensity we had when we met. I am so excited to make this man my forever. 💜 thank you Jess for capturing us so effortlessly.

Tonight I lay in bed watching the world burn and I am scrolling through tears as I ache to be there with my body on the line fighting for the freedom our ancestors came here hopeful and seeking.

I ache as a mother watching the children of other mothers die in the streets and I become enraged.

A mother of one, is a mother of all.

As I rest in the unease of overdue revolution wishing I could be on the front lines, I remind myself that parenting is political and I will raise a child who will never let anyone step on the necks of their neighbors.

I am wishing everyone in Minneapolis strength and am in awe of your community and activism. Thank you. by @discotechnics
