Terceira Island of the Azores is famous for one very special place that is the highlight for many when they visit.

You will never believe that that exact place was closed due to maintenance while we were there 🤦‍♀️

I’m talking about Algar do Carvão. Volcanic cave, lush vegetation all around, crystal clear lake,… google it 😭
