"I love going on your rides!" - Oliver, 7. Thank you so much to @mend_yourbike_mark for looking after us at @discoverbikesuk this morning! The kids were treated to hot chocolate and breakfast bars before our 17km ride from the Lakes to North Swindon. We stopped for some challenges and races halfway (and biscuits, obviously) and ended with an ice lolly at pick up time.

After the bike check was handled by one of our young ride leaders, Mark stepped in to fix one of the kids bikes to make it safe to ride (and refused payment)... Another reason why he's the best in town. The @discoverbikesuk team will always do what they can to get you back on the trails asap 🫶🏼

As always, thank you to Trevor, @gareth.mullen.79 @kimellissamantha and Courtney for their support🙏🏼🙏🏼. And obviously @bikes_football_drums_music who I wouldn't want to run these without 🫶🏼🤘🏼 by @discoverbikesuk

We've had a few instances recently where bikes have been booked in for repair where the e-bike batteries have failed due to incorrect storage.

If you're planning on parking your bike up over the
Here are our top tips

Charge it to roughly 30–60% before putting it away. 30% is our preference.
Keep it in a dry place, ideally around 10–20°C.
Don't leave it on the charger over winter.
Check the charge every 1–2 months. If it has dropped significantly, top it back up to around 30% #charging
Before using it again in spring, let it come back to room temperature before charging or riding. by @discoverbikesuk
