At Tuesday's Future of Boston's Innovation Economy gathering at @greentownlabs in Union Square, leaders across Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville came together to celebrate our region's extraordinary climate innovation ecosystem and explore what's needed to accelerate its growth.

As Greentown CEO Georgina Campbell Flatter shared, in just 15 years, Greentown's community has supported 700 startups that have raised $15 billion and created 17,000 jobs — with a third of those companies relocating here to be part of this remarkable ecosystem.

These numbers tell a powerful story about what happens when entrepreneurs, universities, investors, industry leaders, and government work together to turn breakthrough ideas into growing companies.

At USQ, we're proud to help write the next chapter by building a vibrant, connected innovation district in Union Square where companies can launch, grow, and collaborate — right at the intersection of Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville.

Thank you to Mayor Michelle Wu @wutrain, @mayorjakewilson , City Manager Yi-An Huang, and the extraordinary Greentown Labs team for championing a shared vision of Greater Boston's innovation economy. USQ is excited to welcome Predicta Biosciences as our first lab tenant at 10 Prospect!

The company will move into its new space in October, marking a significant expansion of its team and operations.

Founded by oncologists and scientists from @danafarber Cancer Institute and the @broadinstitute, Predicta is developing an integrated molecular diagnostics platform for hematological malignancies.

Its technology sequences whole, intact circulating tumor cells from a single blood draw, generating genomic and immune insights that can help guide therapy selection and track disease evolution over time.

We built 10 Prospect for companies like Predicta: founded here in the Boston region, growing quickly, and ready for a lab of their own.

At 10 Prospect, they’ll have specialized lab infrastructure, a Green Line station at their front door, and a Union Square neighborhood filled with researchers, founders, builders, and dozens of independent restaurants and shops.

Welcoming Predicta is an important milestone for USQ and we expect it to be the first of many.
