👇🏻 I’ve never done a proper introduction here, so now it’s the time to explain who @discoverwithbru is 🤪 🌻 I’m Bruna! I’m 28 years old and have been living in Ireland for the past 3 years. 👩🏻‍🔬 By day, I work a 9-5 job in Ireland. But whenever I get the chance, I’m exploring new places, discovering hidden gems, and creating content to inspire other people to see how big and beautiful the world is! ✈️ Other curiosities about me: 🇺🇸 My first international trip was to the United States (then I went 3 times in 3 years in a row and lived in Pennsylvania for 4 months each). 🇧🇷 Even though I’m from Brazil, I’ve never been to Rio. 🇮🇹 My favorite country is Italy, I’ve lived there for 6 months and intend to go back one day! 📜 I got my Italian citizenship by juris sanguinis (right of blood) because some of my ancestors were Italian. 👫🏻 I've been married for 3 years now. 🤭 I’m a Gemini and I’m an introvert, I talk a lot but only to people I know for a while. 📺 When I was a kid I wanted to be a TV travel journalist. 🤍 I live far from all my family and sometimes I feel sad about it, however I don’t think I could live in Brazil again. 🐒 My favorite band is Arctic Monkeys. 🏡 I love traveling but I also love staying at home. 🧀 My favorite dessert is Cheesecake and I love baking it. Thanks to everyone who’s been following along so far, I’m so happy to have you here! 💕 Do we have something in common? Or is there anything else you wanna know about me? 🙈 . #travelcontentcreator #introduction #aboutme #travelcreator #europetravel #expatineurope by @discoverwithbru

⬇️ Skip the long queues and the crowded top of the Eiffel Tower! For a breathtaking view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower itself, head to the ✨ Arc de Triomphe✨ Here’s why it’s the best choice: 🔹 Better Views: Capture stunning panoramas that include the Eiffel Tower – something you can’t do when you’re on it! 🔹 Cheaper Tickets: Save money with more affordable entry fees. 🔹 Shorter Queues: Spend less time waiting and more time enjoying the view. 🔹 Less Crowded: Experience a more relaxed and enjoyable visit with fewer crowds. 🔹 Central Location: Easily accessible and surrounded by the iconic Champs-Élysées. ❤️ I love the Eiffel Tower, but I don’t think it’s the best viewpoint of Paris. The Arc de Triomphe offers a unique perspective and a memorable experience! ⁉️ What’s your favorite viewpoint in Paris? . #paristravel #parisviews #paristips Visit Paris, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, best viewpoints in Paris, travel Paris, Paris tips, Paris travel guide, avoid crowds in Paris, iconic landmarks, save money in Paris, Paris attractions by @discoverwithbru
⬇️ Armona Island guide 🇵🇹 Located just off the coast of Olhão in the Algarve, this hidden gem is accessible by a quick 20 - minute ferry ride 🚤 ✨ Here’s how to get there: 1️⃣ Head to Olhão and catch the ferry to Ilha da Armona. The return ticket costs just around 4€ for adults and 2€ for children. 2️⃣ Tickets can only be purchased at the ticket stands near the ferry in Olhão (Av. 5 de Outubro) or on the island itself (cash only) 💰 3️⃣ The island is small and easy to explore on foot. 4️⃣ There are no cars, roads or hotels here! (You can eventually find Airbnbs) 5️⃣ You will find restaurants, bars, and markets, where you can enjoy fresh seafood and local delicacies 🍤 Plus, there are plenty of spots to grab a refreshing drink, ice cream or Bolas de Berlim 😋 😍 Have you ever seen or been to this island before? . #algarveportugal #armonaisland #visitalgarve Visit this island in the Algarve • Ilha da Armona • Hidden gem in Portugal • Explore Portugal • Island in Portugal • Algarve trip • Algarve travel • Visit Portugal • Island getaway in Portugal by @discoverwithbru
⬇️ SAVE THE GUIDE TO NEUSCHWANSTEIN: This is Neuschwanstein Castle, located in Bavaria, Germany, and it was the inspiration for Disney’s Cinderella Castle 🏰 🚗 Getting there: • By bus: take a Flixbus from Munich. • By car: A 2-hour drive from Munich. • By train: Take the BRB RB68 train to Füssen, then hop on bus 73 or 78 to Neuschwanstein. 🚶‍♀️ Getting up to the castle: You can’t drive all the way up, so you have 3 options from the base: 1️⃣ Walk 30 minutes following the signs or Google Maps. 2️⃣ Shuttle bus: Departs below Hohenschwangau Palace (parking P4). Costs €3 uphill, €2 downhill. Cash only and tickets are sold on the bus. 3️⃣ Horse carriage: Departs in front of Hotel Müller. Costs €8 uphill, €4 downhill. Cash only as well. Keep in mind that even with the bus or horse carriage, you’ll need to walk the last 10 minutes to reach the castle! We took the horse carriage uphill (the buses weren’t available due to a holiday) and walked downhill, it was a fun experience! 🎟️ Tickets: • €21 per person to go inside the castle. • You can buy them online or at the ticket center in Hohenschwangau. 💡 Tips: • Bring cash! Many services don’t accept cards. ATMs are available, but fees might apply. • Visit during spring or autumn for the best experience. In winter, some areas like Marienbrücke Bridge (with the iconic view of the castle) may be closed due to ice. ⬇️ Must try sweet when visiting Sintra, Portugal 🇵🇹 Have you ever heard of queijada? It’s the traditional sweet from Sintra - a little tart made with cheese, sugar and eggs. I tried queijadas from two different places: 🍮 Aurora Queijadas - a small local shop where I tried both the tart (€1.80) and the pudding version (€2.90) - and the pudding was my absolute favorite! Creamy, sweet and it tastes like a caramel cheesecake! 🍮 Casa Piriquita - the most famous spot in Sintra, always busy with tourists. Their queijadas cost €1.30 and tasted pretty similar to Aurora’s, but they have way more traditional Portuguese sweets and a café where you can sit and eat. Both are worth a try, but don’t leave Sintra without tasting them! . #visitsintra #portugaltrip Portugal food • Tradicional sweet from Sintra • Portugal trip • Lisbon day trip • Portuguese dessert • Things to do in Portugal • What to eat in Portugal • Sintra food by @discoverwithbru

⬇️ MINI GUIDE TO CALA POLA ⛱️🇪🇸 Cala Pola is one of Costa Brava’s hidden gems, located in Tossa de Mar. Here’s everything you need to know: 🚗 How to get there: • By car: The easiest way is driving - there’s parking near the Camping Pola Giverola, and from there, it’s about a 10-15 min walk down to the beach. • By bus: From Barcelona or Girona, take a bus to Tossa de Mar, then a taxi or a longer walk (through Camí de Ronda) to Cala Pola. 👣 How to access: You can access the beach through the campsite nearby or the Hotel Zel Costa Brava, you’ll find stone stairs and signs to reach the beach. 🏖️ What to expect: • Fine sand and shallow waters, ideal for swimming • Surrounded by cliffs, giving it a secluded feel • Small beach bar (chiringuito) in summer • Bring your snorkel gear! ⬇️ Learn these Italian unwritten rules ✨ 💶 Carry cash – Some small businesses, cafés, city toilets and even some restaurants don’t accept cards (or prefer cash). Always have euros with you, especially in smaller towns! 🍦 Good gelato is in metal tins – The best authentic gelaterias store their gelato in covered metal containers to keep it at the perfect temperature. If you see gelato piled high with bright colors… run! That’s probably not the real deal. ☕ No cappuccino after lunch – In Italy, cappuccino is strictly a morning drink. Ordering one after 12 PM will instantly give you away as a tourist! One day I ordered a cappuccino after lunch and they told they didn’t have it 🤣 👀 People stare at you if you dress differently - If you step out in flip-flops or sporty clothes (without actually going to the gym), expect some stares. They also dress accordingly to the season, so even if it’s a warm day in winter they will stare at you if you are wearing a dress. 🍸 No cocktails with dinner – Unlike other places where cocktails are common with meals, Italians usually have them before dinner as an aperitivo. With food, it’s all about wine and water! 🇮🇹 Have you noticed any of these Italian customs? Or were you guilty of breaking some of them? . #italylife #italytravel #livinginitaly Italian culture • Italian customs • Italia • Italian life • Italian rules • Italy tips • Italy trip • Life in Italy • Things I learned living in Italy by @discoverwithbru
