Desi’s Sip & Paint - 16.08.2026 🍹🎨✨

As someone who genuinely loves hosting, I try to do one big event every year to bring my favourite people together and create some memories.

2024 was a Christmas dinner 🎄
2025 was a Games night 🎲
2026 was a Sip & Paint 🍹🎨

This one was truly better than I could have imagined and my favourite one yet! From the food and drinks to the music, the painting, the laughs and most importantly having so many amazing people in one room.

Thank you to everyone who came, brought the vibes and made the day so special.

Now I guess I need to start thinking about what event I want to do for next year 👀

Finally tried the viral @demartinitiramisu in Barcelona and safe to say it did not disappoint!

They have 5 flavours to choose from:
• Clásico
• Strawberry
• Pistachio
• Caramel
• Chocolate

My favourites were:

Strawberry — Sweet, fresh and essentially tastes like strawberries & cream! Loved how fresh the fruit was.

Clásico — No notes! A lovely balance of coffee and sweet mascarpone with a soft, creamy texture.

If you’re not usually a fan of tiramisu or strong coffee flavours, these are definitely worth trying, as the coffee isn’t too overpowering.

I’ve heard lots of good things about Din Tai Fung and decided to pop in for lunch! It was a hearty and flavourful meal, perfect for a catch up with friends

Crisp W6 is a place that I’ve had on my list ever since it went viral on TikTok. It’s notorious for being always fully booked. After hearing they opened a new place in Mayfair I made sure to stop by for lunch. Located in the basement of a pub, the decor is really nice and the pizzas even better. The signature crisp W6 was hands down my favourite!

Sweet 1ne is an Afro- fusion restaurant that I first visited over a year ago. I absolutely loved the Rasta pasta and wanted to go back and try more things on their menu. I was a bit disappointed with the sticky toffee pudding but everything else that I ordered was great!

For £40pp you can get 3 small plates, 1 main and 1 dessert as well as unlimited drinks as part of their bottomless brunch deal. The food was more than enough and the drinks kept flowing. I would 100% recommend

As a Nigerian myself, I’m a bit wary of going to Nigerian restaurants because I find it to be overpriced. Although it definitely is on the pricer side, the food and Papi’s grill was great quality and 100% worth.

I first heard of this place because they do a bottomless brunch for £30pp where you get 1 starter, 1 main and unlimited rum punch. Although this deal is only available on Saturdays I still enjoyed the meal, especially the drinks and will definitely be back

My friends and I recently went to doughnation for their bottomless pizza and spritz deal. For £30 you get unlimited pizza and a range of spritz. The drinks were nice and big but the pizza was quite salty and took a while to come out. Not my favourite bottomless brunch location but not too bad considering the price

From Miami to London - I recently stopped by Coyo Taco to see what all the hype was about, including why it’s known as one of David Beckham’s favourite taco spots. Safe to say, it didn’t disappoint!

The tacos were packed with flavour, but the chicken quesadilla was definitely the standout for me.

The restaurant itself has a great vibe and there’s even a hidden speakeasy and bar tucked away inside, making it well worth a visit if you’re in the area.
