IMPORTANT DEETS 👊 by @discoveryfrankston

Discovery Church Ringwood is launching in 2027.

Over the next six months, we’re going to pray, gather, build, prepare and take some big steps together as we move toward launch.

This isn’t just about starting Sunday services. It’s about forming a church community, building a Launch Team, serving Ringwood, creating space for people to explore faith, and laying the foundations for what we believe God wants to do in this city.

Swipe through to see the journey ahead >>

SEPTEMBER | COMMIT
Pray. Discern. Register for an Interest Session. Begin asking whether God might be inviting you to be part of this journey.

OCTOBER | JOIN
Attend an info session. Join a team. Put your hand up to lead. Let’s meet, build momentum and begin turning vision into action.

NOVEMBER | GATHER
Come together in prayer and worship. Let’s invite others to join our ministry teams, build relationships as we begin shaping the culture of Discovery Ringwood.

DECEMBER | PREPARE
Let’s put the practical systems, teams and equipment in place so we are ready for launch.

JANUARY | TEST
Let’s plan our first “soft gathering” to test, identify gaps and refine our experience.

FEBRUARY | PREVIEW
Let’s host a couple of “soft gatherings” and full run through for every team, leader and system for launch.

MARCH | LAUNCH
We begin gathering weekly as Discovery Church Ringwood welcomes people, builds community and helps more hearts find their place in Jesus’ story.

Young Adults is back this Sunday 🤌🏼 THAI CURRY FOR DINNER 🔥 by @discoveryfrankston

13 years of addiction. Multiple attempts to end his life. No hope in sight.

Then Jesus found him.

At his lowest moment, Christ broke the chains of addiction over Caleb’s life. For the first time ever, he hears a voice that says, “I love you. I’m proud of you.”

That’s the gospel. Jesus doesn’t wait for you to clean yourself up, He meets you in the pit and pulls you out.

Caleb was buried with Christ in baptism and raised to walk in new life. The old Caleb is gone. Addiction doesn’t get the final word on his life, Jesus does.

Caleb’s prayer is that his story sets someone else free.

If you’re battling addiction or shame. The same Jesus who found Caleb is looking for you too. You are not alone.

“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

If you’re looking for hope, you can find it at Discovery Frankston (130 Cranbourne Road, Frankston) every Sunday at 10AM ‼️ by @discoveryfrankston
