I am an Olympian

Super proud of my performance: 20th place with 61.81m

A life long dream was achieved yesterday, to step out into that arena wearing the @teamgb lion with pride and earn those Olympic Rings

20th place looks tough on paper but this result is very positive:
• 1.07m off the final
• Highest British athlete in the Paris 2024 Discus
• Second furthest throw Ever by a British Male Discus thrower at the Olympic Games
• Joining the family of Team GB Olympians
• After the struggles of the last few weeks to come out and compete well against this field I am holding my head up high

Thank you to everyone who has been in this journey with me and please do stick around cause I am not done yet. The fire is burning brighter then ever and this season isn’t done yet

Title defended 👊

Hear from Nick Percy on his win in the discus (60.09m) and inspiring the next generation as fellow Scot Jacob McKinlay sets a new PB (56.63m) takes bronze representing GB juniors 🥏

Season opener - 62.16m

Very happy with this distance considering I picked up a bug during travel and only being here a few days.

There are a few more opportunities to improve this distance before coming home but to achieve the Commonwealth Games Standard right away takes a lot of stress away. taken in Ramona, Oklahoma by @discusnick
