if you know me, you know that my parents are my best friends. this week, this cruel world lost a beautiful soul. dad, you came into my life unexpectedly after meeting mom at Starbucks (how do i beat that honestly). i questioned it and battled it at first but you very quickly became the dad i had always craved growing up and filled an empty place in my heart. you were mom’s soulmate and it brought me so much warmth knowing she is happy again. you taught me how to live with laughter and love always and you inspired me everyday to live as you did. through all the pain you experienced, not once did you let it change you. you fought till the last second for me and mom. we will continue to live on FOR YOU. i know you’re always with me and what you would say if i ever needed advice. i’d kill to hear your voice again and to feel your hugs and silly jokes but i know you’re not suffering anymore. i hope you know how much you changed our lives for the better. i promise to take care of mom and to make you proud. best dad and best husband to mom. i love you so much dad, rest easy 🩷 by @dishaladd

never ever thought i’d be making this post when i’m just 19. Pappa i miss you so much it hurts. thank you for being such a big part of my life and teaching me so many things. you were the best grandpa ever and i cherish every memory i have with you from teaching me how to do math, teaching me how to ride a bike, playing xbox with me, scolding me about my poor folding skills and so so much more. i wish you were still here but i’m so grateful that you’re not in pain anymore. i promise to make you proud and grow into the person you’d hope i’d become. i promise to do right by you and help mom/ dad take care of aai. i love you so so much.

rest easy 🕊🤍 by @dishaladd
