Happy World Teachers’ Day to our wonderful team of teacher volunteers, headed by Dismas and Nurdin! 🌍📚

Their dedication, enthusiasm and motivation inspire students and children around Kilimanjaro to learn, care for their environment and help create a greener future through our educational programme.

A big shout-out to them all! Thank you for sharing your knowledge, energy and passion with the next generation.

Met a brother with a guitar today in Materuni Waterfall, and we just had to jam! Nothing connects people quite like the magic of reggae 🎙️✨

📻 Mark your calendars.

This Sunday, 21 June at 7:00 PM EAT, our Kili Green Hub Manager, Dismas Mlaki, sits down with Olga Machupa on Moshi FM 90.7 for a conversation about the work we’re doing right here on the slopes of Kilimanjaro.

Dismas will be talking through it all — plastic recycling at the Hub, the Rau reforestation programme, our tree nursery (where every seedling has a destination), Kili Climate Days in local schools, and how we’re making sure girls are at the heart of the KGH programme, not at the margins of it.

It’s a chance to hear the daily work of climate action in our region — from someone who lives it.

Tune in. Turn it up. And if you’re outside Moshi and need the stream, drop a comment below — we’ll sort you out. 🌱

Pedaling through the trails to find where the water meets the stone. There is something grounding about the ancient energy of these river rocks. 🚲

Two wheels, one forest, and endless views. 🚲✨ From the climb up to Rock Waterfall to the winding trails of Rau Forest. 🌳
Moshi never ceases to amaze. There is nothing like the energy of the wild to keep you moving.

Rau forest you have my heart 💚🇹🇿

The Great Migration of my life! Witnessing nature on this scale is humbling. First time in the Serengeti, and I'm speechless!

Is the wisdom of the past generation important to make a healthier planet?🌱
@afrisos in partnership with @greenmanjaro_foundation and with support from @pulitzercenter hosted a continent-wide competition inviting Africans to submit pictures capturing the beauty and urgency of sustainable actions as seen through the eyes of the next generation.

@dismasmlaki, a storyteller from Tanzania, shows the importance of elderly wisdom in guiding young people to protect our planet. He captures a moment when a young girl receives a sapling from an elderly woman, as a symbol of hope and shared responsibility for a resilient climate.

The two giants, Kilimanjaro and Meru, smiling together at high noon. A view that truly makes you feel small. 😜🇹🇿
