omg this week's show was literally one of the most fun hours of my entire life! thank you to cool joe for joining me in studio bee LIVE at @103.3ashevillefm for the BIGGEST DANCE PARTY SO FAR! listen back in the archives at ashevillefm.org- yeah, while you're there (or maybe just before you leave while your dancing shoes are still on) you can donate money to our little community radio station. capitalism baby!! but we know what's up. we bring the vibes! the money will come 💸 NO PRESSURE 😆😉😘
if you wanna know why to donate? listen back. trust me, you'll get it.

We had the chance to sit down and talk about ARK with @walkerspruill33 from @disparatedots on @103.3ashevillefm

Starting something new is a bit wild. You have an idea, you start collecting ingredients, start cooking, and before you know it you’re sitting in a radio studio talking about the thing you built.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to tell a little bit of the ARK story, share some songs that resonate with us, crown Lindsey with a new title, and give Ashley a space to monologue about Dolly Parton. Tune in tomorrow Tuesday 9/15 at 11am on 103.3 fm for the full interview! by @disparatedots

big day!! 📻💕
second half of interview with @jessshepjoudry about the Recovery Rally this Thursday Sept 3rd 2-7pm at pack square park (freeeeeee, please share with your friends and loved ones and coworkers and so many people are in need of recovery support! let's be the megaphone that shares this opportunity! #recoveryworks #wncrecovery )
had the one and only @nexmillen in studio bee with me while we talked music and passions and community (it IS @disparatedots with me, your adhDJ 😝 so there are a few tangents) - excited to keep discussing AI with you Nex (genuinely). tbh, come in any time! can't wait to deep dive #sade at the next deep listening party at @potentialnewbf
and i lost my time today and am excited to share the story of @shilohcommunitygarden and the long standing community of Shiloh, NC that makes it happen.

what did i forget? a lot no doubt!!
check the show notes and listen back to my chats with nex AND jess in the archives at ashevillefm.org/show/disparate-dots/ by @disparatedots

This time tomorrow Sat July 18th I’ll be at @thegreyeagle for the free patio show (starts at 2pm) featuring @maisy0wen and @imyourluckybreak who are so awesome and came in Studio Bee with me at @103.3ashevillefm on @disparatedots (where you know… it all depends on who shows up!!)
This is community 💜
Also zines rule (thanks Emma for sharing one & 📝 @avlzinefest is in Late September this year~ follow them to stay up to date. Cause you know I’m gonna forget until I remember 🙃)
I’ll see you there, and if you mention you’re there for a @walkerbomb then I have some goodies for you!!
No pressure! Just opportunity. And love, always love.
Go listen in the archives on the second slide~ it was a blast! 📻📲🔊

Also, I’m dog sitting this sweet bebe nibling Prim and love that I am out walking more! Dogs are great at getting me out of the house 🐕😋 but I am definitely a cat person 😻 because I want to sleep in the sun beams all day and play around all night.
// speaking of night- look at the moon and Venus in the NW evening sky. It is breathtaking! by @disparatedots

There is still time to attend today’s @avlgmcofficial afternoon show!! I went last night and it was so good. And that duet on @disparatedots ? I was blown AWAY by the live performances of Ryan and Thomas (therapy indeed!) and everyone at the Asheville Gay Men’s Chorus ** edited to add~ bring a hankie 😭 The LOVE is so strong in the room. 🌈💕

Butter believe it, @churning.man coming in hot. Tune into @103.3ashevillefm with @disparatedots on Tuesday at 11am. My homie Walker is on air sharing all things music and community. She interviews @ur.invited and @sacredplayproductions this episode. We share all things fest related and the vision behind it all. Remember you can tune in on their website, both link to 103.3 and Churning Man website in bio! Can’t wait to churn at the burn with you, Asheville! by @disparatedots

Dance Par-tay every day!! 🎶 @103.3ashevillefm
Celebrate community radio with me and donate now at AshevilleFM.org (and tell Whitney to get the tattoo in your donation comment! 💪😜) #springfunddrive #donatenow #thisiscommunity by @disparatedots

Tune in Tuesday at 11am for @disparatedots on @103.3ashevillefm (or in the archives!! 🗄️) when our adhDJ Walker will chat the day away with Lillian, a native Ashevillian who is now an intern with a really rad non profit called @happyroots_nc that gardens in schools and assisted living facilities and we talk about the upcoming @earthdayjamnc (the greenest event in #salisburync ) and can’t wait to dance the day away and celebrate education and science (@ncscifest event ~ yayayayayayay science 🔭🔬🧬✨) and health and farmers and clean water and recycling and compost and music and JOY & LOVE.
Also: @mallr.a.t.s Cheese and Chat this weekend 4/11, hopefully I’ll have it together enough to air the second of Maddy’s poems that go with their very 🩷🩷🩷 painting. And you can hear @hogwild_enterprises tonight on our community radio station #deepglean at 7 AND see his art @ the Asheville mall gallery
Also: thanks to @justeconomicswnc for joining me last week! And for sharing #withoutshadewithoutrest - I will be clipping some for next week’s show because the workers’ stories are so good and they do not need me to speak for them, only amplify 📢
Okay, I already forgot what else, so tune in at 11 and let’s play on the radioooooo 💕 by @disparatedots
