You're not broken. You're in-between.
✨ Global community for women building life after divorce + Ladies' Night storytelling shows
🇨🇭 Lausanne based
POSTS STORIES REELS
I wrote this definition of “the in-between” the other day— that weird, uncomfortable space after the end of the marriage, at the start of the divorce… but before becoming your own. It’s not a setback. It’s not a pause. It’s not always pretty. But it’s real. And it’s ours. ✨ Does this definition feel true for you? If you’re in your in-between right now, I just opened up a space for us— a private community for the women rebuilding. 💌 Link in bio. You’re invited. ❤️🧳 #DispatchedDivorcée #divorcedwomen #divorcedsupport #community by @dispatcheddivorcee
Backstage, I caught myself in “I’m not ready” mode. Reading my notes. Trying to squeeze in a little more preparation. And feeling it drain my energy instead of pepping me up to go on stage. Just because I was about to embody a controlling character didn’t mean she needed to run the warm-up too. 🙄 So I put my notes down. Sat with the audience. Enjoyed the other storytellers. Then stepped on stage and trusted myself to work with what emerged. This is what creating from the unknown feels like when you’re experimenting at your growth edge. Catching a familiar pattern and choosing what actually supports you in that moment. That was a win worth celebrating. 🥂 Swipe to meet the Dark Queen (aka my ego), presenting a guided gallery tour of her worst nightmares: my self-development journey. Some of the art exhibits. Followed by how I celebrated the win. A big thank you to @dispatcheddivorcee for organising these fabulous storytelling evenings and holding space for women to tell their stories. The other speakers for embarking on this journey together. @diff_lausanne for warmly welcoming us all. And last but not least…everyone in the audience who listened attentively and cheered us on. by @dispatcheddivorcee

Come for the stories, stay for the cocktails & dance party. 🍸🪩 After the show, fill your glass with one of the custom cocktails @diff_lausanne is making just for us, with fun divorcée-style names. Then we scoot the chairs out of the way, the scène becomes a dance floor, and @dj_queen_moustache makes us dance like no one’s watching. Costumes optional. It’s not a Halloween show. But it’s *not-not* a Halloween show either. 🖤 LADIES' NIGHT is back for Chapter 6: GOTHIC NOIR. On Sat., Oct 31 at @diff_lausanne, three women tell stories about what haunts them, with a divorcée twist -- old lovers, old versions of ourselves, and curses that were unleashed upon us. After the show, grab a divorcée-themed cocktail for an apéro while we set up the dance floor. The night finishes with an epic dance party mixed by @dj_queen_moustache. 🍸🪩 Costumes optional. If you dress up, think glamor, and keep your face visible. No blood, no gore, no dark parking lot-themed costumes, please. We want to maintain a safe space while having fun. Every other divorce book is one person, telling one side. This one has 40. "Divorce Diet" Curated by @danairye Published by @folly.journal Launches: 4 Dec 2026 Available: Globally "Divorce Diet" is a collection of 40 stories curated for divorcées, by divorcées, featuring writers from around the world, and I am one of them. This beautiful collection is curated by @danairye because when she was divorcing, she couldn't find any books that represented her experience, so she made one for all of us. As the back jacket says, "Divorce is the loneliest thing that happens to millions of people all at once. This is a book about going through it in company." I am so proud that my story, "Shame," is one of the 40 stories included in this book. This is my first time being published, and seeing my name *and* this story in print brings up all the emotions. I'm so excited for this book to be out in the wild. It's launching from @folly.journal, based in New Zealand, and will be available globally (including the US and Switzerland 😘). Can't wait for everyone who is divorcing and divorced to read this book. It's one we've been needing. #divorcebook #divorcestories #divorce by @dispatcheddivorcee

I know a divorcée who talks about her ex as her first husband. It's so funny when people catch that. I have never introduced myself as an ex-wife, as that gives my title to what I was, not what I am. (I do talk about my ex-husband as "ex" because it's in relation to myself.) "First Wives Club" the movie is something that I was inspired by when creating Dispatched Divorcée. Some day, I'd love to have a physical building or space that's the "divorcée clubhouse." However much I am inspired by this movie, we are dispatched divorcées because we are divorced women who are on an assignment. What's the assignment? Great question — it's different for everyone. 😏 Let me know if you want to talk about yours 😘😘 #divorcedwomen #lifeafterdivorce by @dispatcheddivorcee
