Got to take Mum on a road trip around Arizona for her 60th, and what a blessing it is to explore this world with the woman who gave me life. by @disposable_and_lost

Happy Earth Day

Praise God for the beauty of creation, for the mountains, oceans, trees, and every sunrise that reminds us of Your goodness.
Thank You for the earth we get to live on, explore, and enjoy.
Help us to care for it well, live with gratitude, and never lose sight of the Creator behind it all.

Thank you Jesus

I don’t really know what I’m doing
but I’m here
standing in the quiet after something ended
holding a version of myself
that doesn’t quite fit in my hands anymore
she is not gone
just too full
for the life that held her
and now everything is wider
like the first time I saw colour
before I knew its name
how blue felt like falling
how green felt like breathing
how everything was too alive
to understand all at once
I think I am there again
awake in a way that feels
beautiful
and almost unbearable
because I know now
what it is to love something
enough to become it
I know what it is
to give years
to let something shape your bones
your rhythm
your sense of where you belong
and I know
what it is
to sit quietly
while it finishes
not shattered
not taken
just complete
and that kind of ending
doesn’t break you
it expands you
until you no longer fit
the life you once held perfectly
so here I am
between the girl
who knew exactly who she was
and the one
who is just beginning
I feel like both
the child
wide-eyed
reaching toward colour
without needing to understand it
and the teenager
on the floor
heart open
learning that something can be
true
and still not last forever
and somehow
both of them are me
and neither of them are lost by @disposable_and_lost

Twenty Something Sips by @disposable_and_lost

You were in a rush this morning
half dressed, hair still damp, coffee cooling faster than you could drink it.
You took one sip, barely noticed the taste,
already thinking ahead to everything the day would ask of you.
You didn’t say My Name but you smiled.
Because you knew I was there.

So I watched you go to the gym, into conversations, into people’s expectations,
into all the things that make you feel like you have to hold it all together.

I was with you when you lost your keys, when you laughed at that message, when you almost cried in the car but didn’t.

You didn’t notice Me, but I was steady beside you. Holding the pieces,so you didn’t have to.

And as you crawl into bed, you’ll whisper,
“I’m sorry I missed You today.”
Then, like walking through the front door, you’ll start telling Me about your day the parts that went well, the parts that didn’t, the things you’re still carrying. You know I was there, but saying it out loud feels like coming home.

And I’ll be here, light on, door open,
arms ready. Because no matter how far the day pulled you, this is where you return.

And I’m still your Home.

There are moments when I’m in a rush, and the day runs ahead of me before I can get in front of His Word but I know God is still there, steady in the quiet and present in the chaos, always waiting for our conversations. by @disposable_and_lost

In the stone throws and the unknown,
we confront the fragility and fear
that threads through our lives.

The world, with its endless divides,
reveals the same raw, uncharted space
a landscape dotted with fissures and shadows.

In these moments, when we feel the weight
of what’s missing, we search for something
to hold us steady, to bridge the divide.

We find, in the quiet persistence
of our faith and trust, a ladder
reaching upward, a structure
to climb beyond the void.

It’s in these quiet, unspoken supports
that we discover our way,
finding hope and strength
in what we hold onto
amidst the broken and the whole. by @disposable_and_lost

Imagine a hug, lingering and warm,
where the weight of the world dissolves,
cradled in close like a cozy blanket,

It’s the feeling of slipping into your favorite sweater,
its familiar embrace comforting and snug,
like a cherished memory wrapped around you.

With a hot cup of tea, its warmth seeps through,
each sip a moment of quiet contemplation,
like a gentle touch on a winter’s day. by @disposable_and_lost
