This week’s episode with serial entrepreneur @kritty_b of @freemyweedman dives deep into how her personal life time & again inspired her entrepreneurship and then turned her into an accidental activist with her work in advocacy and building community. Kristal Bush’s work is deeply rooted in her personal experience, having grown up as the child of an incarcerated parent from the age of 3. As a result she founded Bridging the Gap Transportation where Kristal reunited over 3,500 families with their incarcerated loved ones. We also talk about her vulnerability in the amazing documentary on her life ’A Woman On The Outside’ and her letting the filmmakers witness all she and her family endures. We discuss how her healing journey led to Kristal launching Free My Weedman, an initiative aimed at addressing the injustices perpetuated by the War on Drugs and the criminalization of marijuana through the power of storytelling, economic development, and community building. This episode is a must watch/ listen!
