Last month I had the privilege of collaborating with the amazingly talented @crushingvenus who created this mesmerizing cover art for my latest mix. Full set and tracklist is on my SoundCloud in my bio 💜

This mix is a tribute to the more melodic sides of dance music and electronica from the 2000s-2010s, which were my first loves in electronic music long before I started to produce or DJ or go clubbing. I wanted to juxtapose some familiar, beloved tunes with more indie but still melodic material - the goal being to provide emotional catharsis and a bit of nostalgia.

A cheeky transition from 1988 house to 2026 tech house (I thought the wordplay would be fun between these two tracks with the lyrics “pump” and “push it… pop it”)

Tracks:
Two Of A Kind feat. Debrice King - Pump The House (Pumpin Inst. Mix) [West Madison Street Records, 1988]
@aaron.klugg - Push it

Practicing vinyl to digital transitions - hopefully one day I get a second turntable and learn for real 😵‍💫

Tracks:
Leon Love - Once Is Not Enough (Unbelievable Dub Mix) [Still Rising Records, NYC, 1984, reissue on Cutting Records, 1989]
M.C.J. feat. Sima - Sexitivity (Club Mix) [X-Energy Records, Italy, 1991]

We’re back this Saturday at our favorite high-altitude DIY hideout after nearly two years away. We’re shelling and shredding till sunrise, a glorious greeting for the longest day of the year.

@jelacruzjeffrey b2b Super WAV (@coreyhindin) open our occasion with their expansive and mesmerizing taste. Individually adroit selectors with a love of waveforms to levitate to, their sound expanses everything from acid, Latin, new wave, and of course, techno.

@dissolved.grl drives us fruther with her sense for the deep and dubby on one hand and the spritely and IDM-influenced on the other. Expect hypnotic 4x4 that draws upon this range.

@_davidlunch_ returns to the DÜF after more than a year. The local quicksilver brings his enthralling intuition for atmospheric prog and relentless momentum to a peak-time pinnacle.

Ben Zo closes with a dawn set. Anticipate unexpected flashes of color from the DÜF director to illuminate any wormhole till the fog and floor must clear. taken in Marcy Avenue JMZ Stop by @dissolved.grl
