The Unplanned Yet Meant Year

I didn’t travel much this year, yet my mind journeyed far
through the twenty-four books I read,
through the quiet growth shaped by experiences I never planned
but deeply needed.

I was surprised, time and again,
by the best Planner in the universe,
who arranged each month with gentle precision.
I was gifted kind souls who helped me along the way,
blessed to meet people I came to love,
and invited to a place I had long prayed for.
