POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

One year ago, DITVSports started with 0 followers and one simple goal: celebrate UTRGV Athletics and the Valley the best way we can.

Yesterday, that journey took us to Southland Conference Football Media Day.

What started as a fan page has grown through hard work, positivity and a community that continues to believe in what we’re building.

Thank you to everyone who has followed, shared, watched, supported and helped us along the way. DITVSports is being built for UTRGV and Valley fans, by UTRGV and Valley fans.

Thank you for being part of the journey. #utrgv #rallythevalley #fanpage #football taken in UTRGV Robert and Janet Vackar Stadium by @ditv956

Junior Seau gave me my first scooter at 8, taking me all over Oceanside. That freedom helped me escape my environment and forge a different path.

Put me in coach!...Inspired by coach Bush's tweet after taking down the first ranked opponent in school history. These designs are a nod to the Vaqueros white and orange gameday drip. CALLING ALL VAQUEROS FANS HEADING TO SAN ANTONIO!

Word is the boys could be arriving at UIW around 3:30–3:45 PM today!

📍 Near the visiting-team entrance, by the baseball and softball fields at Benson Stadium.

Let’s get some orange out there and give our Vaqueros a BIG 956 welcome when those buses roll in!

Bring the noise! Let’s make it feel like home!

Spread the word!

IT’S GAMEDAY! BRING IT!

The Vaqueros roll into San Antonio fresh off their first ranked win in program history!

UIW is no pushover, but this UTRGV defense has been ELITE. I have a feeling the offense is ready to put it together, too!

Time to bring it on the road, 956!

The UTRGV defense is playing ELITE football imo.

Now imagine what this team could become if the offense finds its identity and starts playing with consistency.

The talent is there at OL, WR and other rooms. The flashes are there. If both sides start clicking together, this team could be DANGEROUS.

I think it happens tomorrow against UIW and we change the narrative on the road!

🎙️ No layup questions on DITV Live!

We don’t defend teams or narratives. We talk about what we see, share our perspectives, and let the conversation go where it goes.

Great example as UIW sideline reporter Morgan Huizar gives his perspective on the Cardinals’ schedule, their early-season opportunities, and what it all means.

Straightforward questions. Honest opinions. Straight football talk.

DITV KNOW YOUR OPPONENT

We asked UIW sideline reporter Morgan Huizar @morgan_huizar3 : Who scares you on UTRGV’s roster? 👀

His answer? Kyran “KDot” Lee. @onlykyran

📊 30 receptions | 445 yards | 4 TDs

UIW’s 6’3” CB Lamont Johnson-Burrell @montljb could draw that assignment.

Matchup to watch Saturday!
JC, CT and other WR in the room 👀
