A MOMENT OF GRATITUDE, PURPOSE & PRIDE!
💜💛💙🩶

I am incredibly honored and humbled to share that I have been named the 2026 Norma Jane Sabiston Distinguished Young Alumna of the Year by LSU New Orleans! ⚜️🎓🔬

As a Baton Rouge native, LSU undergraduate alumna, University of New Orleans (LSUNO) doctoral alumna, chemist, microscopist, and advocate for STEM education and community engagement, this recognition is especially meaningful in so many ways! My journey has been shaped by a commitment to moving science forward, mentorship, service, and creating opportunities for others to see what is possible when passion meets purpose.

From advancing science through my work as a physical scientist and microscopist to inspiring the next generation through STEM outreach, I have always believed that our greatest accomplishments are not measured solely by what we achieve but by the doors we open for others.

To be recognized by my doctoral alma mater is a reminder that where you start does not limit how far your purpose can take you. I am grateful to EVERYONE who has encouraged, supported, mentored, and walked alongside me throughout this journey. THIS HONOR BELONGS TO MY COMMUNITY , everyone who continues to inspire me to do more, serve more, and lead with intention.
