Jeff Lemieux, of Proteus Velo Club, led a women’s beginner MTB ride today at Fairland. Seven DIVAs were in attendance. A good time was had by all. We’ll do it again. 😎 Thank You @proteusbikes

On October 30th the Cycling Community lost one of the pioneer cyclist of the DMV.
Kevin L. Ware was a great friend, fellow bicyclist, mentor, and bicycle safety advocate.

Kevin was known across the region for initiating many cycling clubs including Diva Cycling.
He encouraged many and his motto was, "No Cyclist Left Behind."

Today we paid our respects and laid our dear friend to rest.
Thank you, Kevin, for being an inspiration to so many of us. We love and appreciate you. 💝
