Yellowtail! I recently scored an invite from some awesome folks in the @fathomiers for a thrilling two-day island adventure, and it was an absolute blast! I’ve had a few chances to hunt these incredible fish before, but this trip really took my experience to the next level. The crew’s expertise opened my eyes to the excitement of spearing yellowtail, and I totally get why they’re such a favorite! I was completely blown away by how fiercely it fought, especially considering it’s significantly smaller than the WSB I’m used to.

Another one bites the dust! It’s been one hell of a season so far and am very thankful for being blessed with many opportunities to chase these beautiful fish while they're in town.

Fantastic dive today! Last dive of the day I had this 7 gill come in on me while hunting for halibut in 8’ of water. Only bummer is my GoPro battery died before the encounter was over. 😫

Finding angel sharks is normally a great sign of halibut being around but today it was simply a wonderful encounter with some beautiful wildlife.
