Service Manager Zakk Cushman is celebrating 10 years at DFS this month. Zakk worked his way up from helper / trainee to technician to opening our Birmingham branch to moving back to metro Atlanta and becoming our Service Manager. Zakk oversees and supports our Kitchen and Industrial Suppression field staff and is the first line of support and training for our technicians. Under Zakk’s leadership, we continue to develop the best inspection team in the industry. Thank you Zakk for your attention to detail, your professionalism and your years of dedicated and loyal service. Our next featured team member is our Office Manager Shauna Day. Shauna will be celebrating 11 years at DFS next month!

Shauna is an integral part of our operations team. She wears many, many hats and wears them all well. Shauna oversees our customer service and support team, coordinates with our subcontractors and partners, works with our warehouse team and suppliers, handles our collection efforts, fields and directs calls from our technicians, and has worked hard to beautify our office and make it a comfortable place to work and visit… among many other responsibilities. Shauna has been instrumental in our growth and contributes to our success in a multitude of ways. We are proud of our team at Diversified Fire & Safety. One of the ways we are going to celebrate our amazing team members is to highlight those who have 10+ years of service at DFS.

First up is our General Manager Jeremiah Simpson. Jeremiah has been with us since day one back in April of 2008. With two decades of experience in our industry, he has been a cornerstone of our growth and success. Jeremiah has been in a leadership role at DFS for nearly a decade and a half and we appreciate his expertise, his guidance and his loyalty. Thank you Jeremiah for nearly 18 years of service!
