Arising Divine ~ 200HR Yoga Teacher Training Lake Atitlán, Guatemala - April 2026 Arising Divine is Nova Yoga’s multi-style teacher training that blends ancient wisdom, modern embodiment, & mysticism. Your lead teachers, Lila-ji & Bholānāth-Ji, have trained across a wide range of lineages ~ ashtanga, vinyasa, power, katonah, iyengar, yin ~ & are rooted in the Adi Nath Shiv lineage of traditional hatha + Classical Kundalini. We pull from all of these traditions to bring you the gold. Think: the most potent teachings, the clearest techniques, & a foundation that will support you for an entire lifetime of practice, teaching, and evolution. Throughout the training, we’ll gently unlayer the world of yoga & translate ancient teachings into modern, real-life wisdom. You’ll learn how to actually live your practice - not just on the mat, but in the way you move through your day, your relationships, & your purpose. By the end, you’ll hear your own inner voice louder than ever & feel empowered to lead - in the studio, in community, & in your own life - from the truth of your heart’s desires. Your teachers have over a decade of experience. They've studied with masters. They've done the work. 2026 marks Bholānāth-Ji's 10th year in guiding Yoga Teacher Trainings, & together Lila-Ji & Bholānāth-Ji have guided several hundred students into their practice. You will live your life differently. This isn't just yoga teacher training. It's over a decade of study and experience distilled into something that will change your life. Whether you wish to teach or simply deepen your own practice, you will leave transformed. We empower novices to become professional leaders & memorable teachers. Our unique approach combines two immersive weekends virtually, spaced out over 6 weeks, followed by a 2.5-week intensive in Guatemala & ultimately culminating in a graduation ceremony on the serene shores of Lake Atitlan. This training welcomes seasoned practitioners & beginners as well as those aspiring to teach or deepen their understanding. Join us & discover the path to personal & professional growth through yoga. See you, awakened in the dream. Bholānāth-Ji & Lila-Ji ✨️🕉✨️ by @divine_alchemy
It's been a blessing in what feels like more than a lifetime of facilitation & study ~ to learn & share inspirations, stories, wisdom teachings, & so many arts of sacred tradition. It's been a blessing to be able to follow the loving excitement & inspirations of passion from within ~ to be fueled in a way that has guided me to the depths of this realm, both inwards and outwards. It's been a blessing to bring community together & be a part of community, in more ways than I ever could have imagined. As I reflect on all the different forms of guidance, performance, and any expression of Soul ... I'm forever grateful for co-creating spaces where people can go inwards ... including myself ... in what feels like such crucial times of importance, so deeply as to feel more of what's real. It's been a blessing to have some of the greatest teachers & mentors who have ever graced this realm to inspire me on my path. Wow. Thank you. I'm forever grateful to have had the courage to pursue many disciplines of healing & self-realization, to know places within myself both of suffering & of kind stillness, to forge the ability to breathe with presence. I am forever grateful to have had the courage to step into form the leadership in ways that I never could have expected. Here is giving thanks to all who have supported my work of the Soul ~ to the friends and family ... to the colleagues & team mates ... to the Elders, ancestors, angels & guides ~ I'm forever grateful. Thank you, always Kris ~ Bholānāth by @divine_alchemy
Sound has the capacity to structure the essence of this reality. Vibration has the capability to align. Intention & Awareness have the necessity to inform. The medium of intentional & sacred sound creates the portal of opportunity into the nowness, to become calibrated with the most pure and true sense of intentional & desired be-ing. For nearly 15 years of my waking life, the art/offering/practice of the art of intentional Sonic Alchemy ... "Sound Healing" ... has been one of the most exciting, rewarding, simple yet dynamic aspects my life, inspiration & Dharma. The power of sound as medicine has brought me all around the world ... to play sacred instruments / dynamic soundscapes / honorary music / "sound baths" ... at intentional gatherings, unprecedented places within the beauty of nature, to small & large audiences, to both renunciated and acclaimed elders/teachers ... and most importantly playing through the guidance of intuition, simply for myself & spirit. ... these are just a few images of some of the light & love of sound I've been blessed to share & experience over the last 10+ years. I'm infinitely grateful for these types of experiences and the countless many more that are all held within the records of my heart space and the tides of Eternity. AUM ✨️ by @divine_alchemy

Throwback to last year's 2025 Rise Wellness Festival in Hedley, BC  This was a very special moment for me as it was the first time I was offered a late night spot of 12:00 a.m. to offer a transformational sound healing journey, to essentially close the festivities on the final night.   It was an honor to be given such a meaningful spot at such a beautiful festival, and it was also so beautiful to have this style of offering soul well received at what normally would be considered the "peak" hours of a music festival of / transformational festival. Often times these spots are given to headlining DJs, yet it was so beautiful to fill the festival's space with the multitude of live instruments (sitar, handpan, medicine flute ... ), sound healing tools (crystal singing bowls & more ...), vocal atonement, singing, and live looping that all together weaves the magic of the sound journeys that I offer.   I really would love to see this more at international music festivals and transformational festivals, where the midnight hour or early morning hours are dedicated to more healing and expansive practices.  It was amazing to see how well received it was by the participants of the festival, and such a unique way to essentially close and integrate all of the collective energy accumulated throughout the weekend's gathering. ... And I truly didn't start playing until around 1:00 a.m. by the time I had all my instruments set up and sound checking complete, so even for myself it was a wild journey to lead a 1 hour plus expansive and expressive sound healing Journey through the early hours of the night.  Forever grateful and truly inspired!  Thank you @risewellnessfestival Namaste by @divine_alchemy

A sound journey is more than an opportunity to rest. It is a moment to step away from the noise of everyday life, slow down, and reconnect with yourself. ✨ There is something beautiful about giving yourself permission to simply be. No expectations, no responsibilities, nowhere else you need to be. And perhaps one of the most meaningful parts of a sound journey is taking a moment to thank yourself for showing up. For making the time. For choosing to nurture your own well-being. 🤍 Join us at Mercurius Curio Shop on October 21 for a beautiful sound journey with Kris Elaschuk. Come as you are. Leave feeling a little more connected to yourself. ✨ Space is limited. Reserve your spot through the link in our bio. #MercuriusCurioShop #SoundJourney #SoundBathEdmonton #SoundHealing #EdmontonWellness by @divine_alchemy
We’re so excited to launch our new collaborative series: SONIKSTATIKA After more than a decade each of living, creating, facilitating and building community in different corners of the world, we’ve found a lot of shared ground. SONIKSTATIKA brings together the worlds we’ve spent years developing relationships with: sound, music, cacao, movement, wellness, nature, ceremony and creative facilitation. We’re interested in how these practices can come together to engage the whole person. Each gathering will have its own character and intention, weaving together sound journeys, ecstatic dance, live music, storytelling, cacao, teachings and collective exploration. Our experiences living, travelling and working across cultures, including long periods of communal living, have deeply influenced how we gather and create. We’re grateful to the people and communities who have shared their knowledge and traditions with us, and believe in engaging with traditions beyond our own upbringing thoughtfully, respectfully and with a willingness to keep learning. Through SONIKSTATIKA, we’ll share some of what we’ve learned along the way, exploring different themes, teachings and perspectives through sound, movement, music and community. 11/11 feels like a fitting threshold: a moment to reflect on what we’re carrying forward and what might be ready to emerge in this new season ahead. To open the series, we’re bringing together cacao, ecstatic dance and an immersive live sound journey. For these events we will prepare and share cacao together before moving into an ecstatic dance guided by Brisa’s live DJ set, followed by a sound journey with Kris featuring medicine flutes, didgeridoo, handpan, crystal singing bowls, vocal intonement, live looping and more. We’ll also share different themes relevant to each unique offering. SONIKSTATIKA: 11/11 Cacao & Ecstatic Dance 6 to 8PM Roots on Whyte Building, #305 8135 102 Street NW, Edmonton $55 (e-transfer or Eventbrite, see profile for link! Limited spots) We would be honoured to have you come launch SONIKSTATIKA with us. Our intention is for these offerings to be truly magical containers, full of connection and transformation. by @divine_alchemy
The spiritual and disciplinary outline of self development, spiritual development and thorough mastery as outlined in classical / traditional budo: Shu Ha Ri Shu (守) – To Protect / Obey In this phase you study and replicate movement, form and technique perfectly. You absorb the forms exactly as they are given, without trying to change them. There is an immense repetition and cultivation in knowing the core essence of the standard flowing forms of technique. "Progress comes to those who train and train; reliance on secret techniques will get you nowhere." "In your training, do not be in a hurry, for it takes at least ten years to master the basics and advance to the first step." ~ Morihei Ueshiba, founder of Aikido Ha (破) – To Break / Detach Once the basics are physically ingrained into your muscles, then standard mold begins to break. You discard the illusion of rigidity, look for exceptions, and understand the core mechanics instead of just the visual posture. Ri (離) – To Leave / Transcend Departing from the physical techniques entirely. A technique is no longer "executed" while expression is natural and intuitive. The self and the universe become one, creating technique based on the moment. O-Sensei, Morehei Ueshiba, was said to have reached this stage in his later years, where he rarely performed standardized technique and instead flowed seamlessly. "Move like a beam of light; fly like lightning, strike like thunder, whirl in circles around a stable center." " In the Art of Peace, there are no forms or patterns—all movements are natural, all techniques are entirely spontaneous, completely flowing with the divine spirit." ~Morihei Ueshiba (This is perhaps the ultimate definition of the 'Ri' state ever spoken by a master). Myself, 20 years into these traditional arts of Aikido, Aikijujitsu, Aikibudo, & Bujitsu ... I reflect on the teachings of O Sensei and can feel some of these inner realizations, yet know the eternity of these arts and will forever be learning. Thank you to all the teachers who have inspired and informed me. Thank you to the living lifeforce of these traditional martial arts. Thank you 📸 @tekutekutune by @divine_alchemy
Join us for an intimate evening of cacao, traditional teachings, sharing, and community connection. We gather on Waxaqib Q’anil, a day within the Maya Chol Q’ij calendar associated with seed, harvest, growth, abundance, potential, and more. Kris has been working with cacao for over a decade, developing a deep relationship with the bean, its preparation, and the traditions and cultures that have held cacao for generations. He’ll share from this experience and offer a drink from a freshly crafted batch of his intentionally made bean-to-bar cacao. Brisa will share an introduction to the Maya Chol Q’ij, including themes and teachings relevant to 8 Q’anil, along with stories of creation and perspectives on time, relationship, and our place within the living world. Her sharing is informed by years of study, time living in Maya lands, and learning alongside Aj Q’ij (daykeepers) We’ll also open space for conversation around the rise of appropriation of Indigenous traditions, as well as the historical/present-day realities that shape how these traditions are represented, practiced, and shared. This includes reflecting on issues: the ways cacao has and is removed from its original cultural context, the negative influence of New Age practices, and the responsibilities and ethics involved in engaging with these traditions. Our sessions are largely educational, so please come with the spirit of wanting to learn. There will be space for dialogue, questions, and sharing throughout the evening. These are intense times. Our intention is to create a space where we can gather, listen, learn, and reconnect with one another. A safe place where you are welcome to come as you are, share what is present, and remember that we don’t have to navigate these times alone. All we ask is that you come with an open mind and a willingness to learn, question, and engage with both the beauty and the shadow side of the realities behind the traditions and stories we encounter. Saturday, October 17 • 7–9 PM Downtown Edmonton Address shared upon RSVP Suggested exchange: $33 or pay what you can. RSVP required (no later than Oct 16). Limited spaces available.
