This October, we choose AWARENESS. 🎀💗

Breast cancer awareness is more than wearing pink. It’s about knowing our bodies, paying attention to changes, asking questions, and encouraging the women around us to take their health seriously.

Here’s something important to know: You can develop breast cancer even if no one in your family has had it.

Family history can increase your risk, but many women diagnosed with breast cancer have no known family history.

So, what can we do?

🌸 Get familiar with how your breasts normally look and feel.
🌸 Pay attention to unusual changes, including lumps, skin dimpling, nipple changes, or unusual discharge.
🌸 Don’t ignore changes or assume they’ll go away on their own. Seek medical advice.
🌸 Encourage your mother, sister, friend, colleague, and the women around you to prioritise their health.

Remember, most breast lumps are not cancer. But a new or unusual change deserves medical attention.

This October, let awareness lead to action. Because looking out for ourselves also means looking out for one another. 💕

Take care of yourself. Encourage another woman. Choose awareness. 🎀
