My new BBC Radio 4 series, The Turning Point, starts on Monday 5 October.

It’s a question that’s personal to me. I know how much my own life changed because people took the time to get to know me, challenge me and help me see a future I couldn’t see for myself.

Over the years, I’ve met so many people doing that for others. This series gave me the chance to spend time alongside them - and hear from the people they’ve helped.

There are conversations about escaping county lines, leaving the far right, navigating the manosphere and finding somewhere you feel you belong.

And there’s a Saturday morning in Manchester when I turn up to ask a group of men some questions and end up opening up about things I hadn’t planned to share.

I learned a lot making this. Some of it about myself.

Five episodes, 14 minutes each, Monday to Friday at 13:45 on @bbcradio4 . I’d love you to give it a listen ❤️
