Last night, under the light of the Full Moon, I had the pleasure of hosting a beautiful private gathering surrounded by incredible women.

Different stories. Different journeys. Different worlds.

But for one evening, we came together to connect, celebrate, laugh, share, release what no longer belongs with us and simply enjoy being present with one another.

Because there is something powerful about being in a room where you don’t have to perform, prove anything, or explain who you are.

You can simply be.

That’s the kind of connection I believe women need more of.

I’m Chanou.

I help women reconnect with themselves beyond success, titles, expectations and achievements.

Because at some point, I realized something:

After discovering painful truths surrounding my father’s death, I found myself thinking about the kind of space I wish I had had during some of the most difficult chapters of my own life.

A place where I could have expressed what I was truly feeling without having to put my entire life on hold.

Where I could cry if I needed to.

Sit by the ocean.
Dance.

For years, I knew how to achieve but I didn’t know how to connect within.

I worked hard. I experienced financial success young. I chased more. I tried to escape pain. I looked for attention and validation outside of myself.

And none of it could give me what I was actually searching for.

It wasn’t until I stopped escaping my emotions, reconnected with my inner child, and started listening within that I understood something:

Your happiness cannot constantly depend on the outcome of your life.

The money can change.
Relationships can change.
Your career can change.
People’s perception of you can change.

And if all of your happiness depends on those things going exactly the way you want them to, you’ll always be chasing something.

This doesn’t mean giving up ambition.
I’m still ambitious. I still dream BIG. I still love creating and achieving.

I just don’t ask my achievements to make me feel enough anymore.

What a privilege it is to be valued for your heart, rather than just being seen as strong and flexible.💪🏽

For years, I was the strong one.
The one who could handle anything.
The one everyone leaned on.

Rest wasn’t part of my vocabulary. I thought that’s what success required.

Somewhere along the way, I forgot what it felt like to just… be held. Not for what I could carry, but for who I actually am underneath it all.

It took a lot of unlearning to get here. A lot of choosing softness when everything in me wanted to prove I didn’t need it.
