I’ll be hanging with Terence Patrick Hughes tomorrow for his book signing - his new novel A Sin to Know at Barns & Noble in Kingston (NY) and I would love to see you if you’re in the hood. I am so freaking proud of him and would do anything for this man. Additionally he has promised me sushi and sake afterwards and Marshalls is next door. Do you push yourself too hard?

We are in a culture that tells us to, and we are often conditioned as A-students, first-borns, entrepreneurial go-getters to, so it’s no wonder.

Sometimes we need permission from others to let off the gas.

To take a breath and notice how powerful we still are, because the power is WITHIN us.

It’s not the outside accolades or degrees, it’s not the glowing reviews or number of likes. It’s our belief in ourselves that powers us.

Which means we can be as soft as we need to.

If you get a chance to work with Kristin Reimer of @photomuse_kristin , GRAB IT.
We did a photo shoot for Divine in NYC and the images are STUNNING. I shared my vision and Kristin saw it in seconds. Then she took it to the moon. She captured the 8D me- expansive, vibrant, dare I say powerful.

Kristin is an intuitive, gentle and formidable artist all at the same time. She notices everything—the light, the space, the energy you bring into it—and then she builds from there. What I appreciated most is that Kristin captured the best version of the real me. And we had a blast.
