POSTS STORIES REELS

Let me introduce myself (reintroduce myself) if you’re now joining me on this wild journey called “life”!).

I’m Aimee — “Mimi” for short.

Eight years ago I walked away from everything I had built.

A career I had trained for my whole life. A string of relationships that had quietly taken more than they gave. A version of myself I no longer recognised when I looked in the mirror.

I didn’t have a plan. I just knew that staying would cost me something I couldn’t afford to lose — myself.

So I started again.

You’ll find me in the Pilates studio, guiding women back into their bodies through movement and breath. You’ll find me outdoors, on trails and adventures that remind me what it feels like to be fully alive and at home within myself. And you’ll find me here — sharing the unfiltered version of a journey that was never linear, never glamorous, and never what I expected.

I rebuilt my confidence from nothing. I rebuilt my sense of worth from scratch. I rebuilt a life that finally feels like mine.

If you’re somewhere in the middle of your own rebuilding — the messy, uncertain, in-between part where you’re not sure who you’re becoming yet — my page is for you.

You haven’t abandoned yourself permanently. You’ve just temporarily lost the thread back to her.

I’d love to walk with you on the journey as you reclaim yourself in any capacity.

Your sense of self.
Your sense of belonging.
Your sense of direction.
Your sense of sovereignty.
Your femininity or womanhood.

If you only saw the highlights, you’d think I had a plan.

I didn’t. What I had was a series of moves, some brave, some desperate, some measured and some impulsive. Many times, I lost myself along the way. Different cities. New career paths. Relationships I stayed in too long. Starting over more times than I can count.

For years, I diminished the dreams I had for myself.

Now I’m doing the opposite.

I’m curating a life of abundance on my own terms. One where I’m free to express myself creatively and also have a career that allows me to connect with women who are coming home to themselves.

My timeline isn’t perfect. It’s a little unconventional. But it’s mine, and I trust it.

If your path hasn’t made sense to anyone else, maybe it was never meant to. There’s a version of you who trusts herself completely, and she’s meeting you in the middle of the messy chapter, not at the end of a perfect one.

Comment or DM RECLAIM if you see yourself in these words. I’m putting together a small founding group for the woman this speaks to, and I’ll send you the details personally.

I see you, gorgeous woman x by @divineeemimi

I love, love 🧡 what a beautiful weekend in gorgeous Queenstown New Zealand, witnessing my baby sis tie the knot. Dress by @shonajoy by @divineeemimi

My life the past 10 years has consisted of:

* Working two government jobs in 2 different cities
* Performing as a singer/dancer/aerialist in 3 different countries
* Studying two different degrees in 2 different cities
* Completing three certifications
* Teaching Yoga and Pilates in multiple locations.

Although I’m afraid to admit sometimes, that I don’t feel like I’m getting anywhere or truly growing, I know the little daily steps I take each day are exactly where the growth is all happening!

I am a woman in her thirties who refuses to fit into a box — and finally stopped apologising for it. If you're someone who has lived a thousand lives and still feels like you're just getting started, you're my people.

There is something quietly powerful about a woman who has rebuilt herself and knows it.

She doesn’t announce it. She doesn’t need to.

You can see it in the way she carries herself. The way she takes up space without apologising for it. The way she looks you in the eye and stays there.

I spent years not feeling like this woman. Years of shrinking, over-explaining, staying too long in things that were slowly diminishing me. Years of looking in the mirror and not quite recognising who was looking back.

The version of me standing here today was built slowly and privately — through breathwork, legs up the wall at midnight when my anxious thoughts were running the show, through boundaries that terrified me, through the decision to go back to study, to start again in a new city, to choose myself even when it was the harder option.

She is not finished. She is not perfect.

But she is proud. And she is finally, completely, unapologetically herself. Does this speak to you? I’m putting together something incredibly special you’re going to love, comment RECLAIM if this resonates, so you’re the first to know about it! xx by @divineeemimi

Some mornings the alarm goes off and I lie there for a moment, aware of how different this life feels from the one I used to live abroad as a professional performer.

I get up. I make my coffee. I drive to the studio to spend my morning guiding women back into their bodies, through breathwork, through movement, through the quiet but profound act of showing up for themselves in a world of noise that asks them to show up for everyone else first.

This is not just a career. It’s a calling that was forged in the hardest seasons of my own life.
If you have started over in love, in career, in identity, in any area of your life, I want you to know that every beginning you chose was an act of extraordinary courage.

She didn’t give up.

She levelled up.

Slow down, gorgeous.

Let the body move the way it wants to — not for performance, not for productivity, not for anyone else’s eyes.

Just for the pleasure of being in it.

The body is a sacred vessel. It carries us through every season of this life — the hard ones, the quiet ones, the ones that ask everything of us.

On the slow days, I come back to this, movement that’s fun but not forced, my breath, my cat who has absolutely no interest in my productivity.

This is what regulation actually looks like for me. Not always a formal practice. Sometimes just softening into the rhythm of a slower afternoon and remembering that rest is not something I have to earn.

You don’t have to earn it either. What does a slower pace look like for you? I’d love to know in the comments. by @divineeemimi

The version of me from 5 years ago wouldn’t recognise the woman I am today.
She was scared to set boundaries. She apologised for taking up space. She didn’t trust her own judgment.
I’m not going to pretend the change happened overnight. It took years, a lot of unlearning, and a willingness to feel deeply uncomfortable. She was an important lesson. I’m so proud of the transformation and of who’s now here instead. The journey doesn’t stop here. Does this resonate for you too? by @divineeemimi

Finding my divine flow through the serenading sounds of nature, ridding the headphones and allowing my ears to simply process the feedback from the raw and real field around me 🌾

🧦➝ also, side note… take off your socks, go barefoot and experience the transfer of frequency from the earth to your body to feel that true grounding experience. This helps reduce inflammation, regulate cortisol, and recalibrate your entire nervous system.

👣 nurture and trust in your body’s biological processes and let me know how this feels next time you try it.

Love,
Mimi x
